Narrative Section:
During the current asssment, there are 728 employees prent in the facility. The employees on the work floor appeared to be mature. A sample of 20 employees is randomly lected from various ctions for the private interview regarding their ages. Young-looking ones are paid more attention. As per the interviewees, the youngest employee is 19 years old. Employees’ age documents are mai
ntained in the form of photocopies of identification card. Sufficient age documents are maintained for employees at the facility. All sampled employees’ age documents are available on the asssment day. The ages reported by employees match the provided age documents. As per the provided age documents, all employees are above 18 years old. No child labor or juvenile worker is found at the facility.诚信在我心中
The other employee documents were provided for review including entering registration forms, employee register and labor contract. Sufficient labor contracts are maintained for employees. The provided labor contracts are well itemized with all provisions required by law. The information on the labor contract is proper. The labor contracts for the employees are current and valid. The copy of the labor contracts is provided to employees. Sufficient information is included in the employee register. No apparent concern was detected at this time.

The interviewed employees reported that there is not any kind of verbal, physical or mental abu for
employees at the facility. Employees are treated with kindness by the management. No abu is reflected on any reviewed documents at the facility. The auditors did not witness any abu for employees during
the asssment process. Thus, no concern was detected at this area.

Narrative Section:
As per the management, there is no peak or non-peak ason in the facility and the last paid month is March 2014; thus, payroll registers from January 2014 to March 2014 were requested for review and time records from January 2014 to May 2014 were requested for review.
IC card and fingerprint recognition system is ud to record the employees’ working hours; actual times in and times out are reflected on the time records. Two shifts were conducted in punching ction and recombination ction: the first shift is from 07:30 to 11:30 and 14:00 to 18:00; the other shift is from
18:00 to 00:00 and 00:30 to 02:30 or 19:00 to 23:00 and 00:00 to 04:00 respectively. As to other ctions, only one shift from 07:30 to 11:30 and 14:00 to 18:00 was conducted. The regular overtime is from 18:00 to18:30/ 19:00 or 02:30 to 03:30/04:30, about 3 times per week. The rest day overtime is 8 or 9 hours conducted on Saturday, about 4 times per month.
Currently, the facility maintains one comprehensive working hour system waiver valid from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014. It was found that the maximum working hours for all sampled employees were 755 hours from January 2014 to May 2014, controlled within the limit of the waiver
2432 hours.
As per the provided payroll registers, all the production employees in the facility are paid by piece rate and the average hourly rate is higher than the local minimum wage RMB5.805 per hour. And the employees in QC ction and warehou were paid by hourly rate, which was also higher than the local minimum wage. Wages are issued before the end of each month through bank transferring (China Bank). The employees are provided with pay slip and their signatures are needed. As per the payroll registers, the employees’ average net wage of March 2014 is RMB 3922(including the bonus).
The payroll register is properly itemized with employee name, piece rate wages, regular working hours and wages, weekday overtime hours and payment, statutory holiday overtime hours and payment, annual leave wages, longstanding wages, allowance for night work, bonus for good performance, total wage, social insurance and signature.
As per the payroll register and employee interview, overtime conducted on regular day and rest day is compensated at 150% and 200% of regular working wage respectively. The employees are also paid 100% of regular working wage with leave on statutory holidays.
