摘要：PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of roasting operation and the quality of the roast product, by nding hot air from the above downward to the conveyor blet supporting the material to be roasted to carry out the roasting, and then guiding the hot air to the lower front part of the conveyor belt to preheat the material from the bottom. CONSTITUTION:The material to be roasted, e.g. beans, rice-cake pellets, barley, etc., is charged continuously from the hopper 11 to the endless conveyor 3, and transferred to the preheating chamber 1 and the roasting chamber 2 in which it is roasted. The hot air is blasted downeard through a perforated plate placed at the upper part of the roasting chamber 2 and having a number of perforations 8a, introduced to the lower front part of the endless conveyor 3, blasted through the perforated plate 10 having a number of perforations 10a toward the belt conveyor 3 in the preheating chamber 1 from the bottom upward. The material to be roasted is preheating by this process. The hot air is discharged by the exhaust fan 9.
