I think the most difficult Western countries are Britain, France, Switzerland, USA, which are ordered from most difficult to least for me. Following parts I will state the characteristic of the 5 cultures in obvious and the hidden aspects respectively.

1. The British are overcautious, they are very courteous and polite, when we stay with British, we must pay high attention to details of our manner and words which make us feel not easy. Besides, British will always stay gentle even though you are very angry.
2.Britain is a multifaith socitety and religions play an important role in people’s life and many people practice more than one religion.

1.Catholic Church and Swiss Reformed Church are famous churches in Switzerland,but there is no country-wide state religion in country. Christianity is the predominant religion of Switzerland.
2.Swiss much care about the etiquette on the table, it is not permitted to talk about keeping fit or being on a diet, besides any noi should not be made when chewing food or using tableware.
