PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner can intensively nd

SOLUTION: The air conditioner having vertical blades 23 divided into a plurality of blocks and changing the wind direction of blown-out air rightwards and leftwards at a blowout port of an air conditioner body and can change the wind direction rightwards and leftwards by oscillating the vertical blades 23 in accordance with instruction from a remote controller is provided with a swing mode for swinging the vertical blades 23 divided into the plurality of blocks and reciprocating and changing the wind direction rightwards and leftwards at nearly equal time intervals; a right-side priority swing mode for stopping the vertical blades 23 in any block in the right position and oscillating the vertical blades 23 in the other block; and a left-side priority swing mode for stopping the vertical blades 23 in any block in the left position and oscillating the vertical blades 23 in the other block.
