上线英文is to study hard and know more words. Now, I will explain the changes of my opinion in the following aspects. I will mainly concentrate on the method of learning English since my knowledge of other languages is limited.
First, I ldom included imitation of native speaker in my English study. I thought standard pronunciation and intonation are intuitive and could not be acquired by cond language learners. Later on, I learned
in behaviorism that imitation is “the primary process in language development” (Lightbrown and Spada 9). I also asked veral friends who have beautiful pronunciation and intonation for advice. They all recommended imitation as the best way to develop better spoken English.

hen, I could only remember a small part of what I have learned. I thought my memory was to blame. Actually, I ever doubted whether I was in short of practice, but I never realized that practice was of so much importance in language learning until I learned behaviorism. However, after the exam, I almost forgot everything about the textbook in that most of the articles in the book are written in literary language which is much beyond my listening comprehension level. According to the i+1 input hypothesis, we’d better lect learning materials which are challenging yet can be handled by us with our efforts. (Lightbrown and Spada 39) I believe I should practice listening by starting with some relatively easier materials like special VOA or American TV shows.
