教学目标
1.To remember the new vocabulary and phras.
2.To understand the plots about the passage.
3.To retell the passage clearly in their own words.
4.To train students’ reading ability and interesting skill by task-bad activities .
教学内容
1.Language points and focus: the main character, the traditional Chine book, once upon a
time, a magic stick, give birth to, at other times, turn…into, more than, as soon as, give up, become interested in, keep doing, the weak.
2.Vocabulary: monkey, magic, birth, stick, hide, tail, turn into, western, weak.
重难点
1.To teach students to learn to tell a story.
教学思路
本科内容是人教版八年级英语下册第六单元的第二课时。阅读部分是这节课的核心内容，它的任务是训练和提高阅读技巧，掌握语法、词汇和知识点等内容，通过让学生根据问题讲故事，练习句型；总结出状语的基本用法。

Step 1 greeting
Step 2 review
Review the word that learned last class.
Step 3 activity and pair work
Students discuss the story of the Monkey King by using their words, and show their story to class.
Step 4 Reading
1.Called 文中为动词的过去分词做后置定语，意为“被称为…”与named 同义。

7.Become interested in 对……感兴趣，相当于be interested in，后跟名词、代词或动名词。
8.Once upon a time 从前，很久以前，是英文故事，童话开头常见的一种叙述方法，类似
表达还有long, long ago或a long time ago。
9.It takes/took (+sb.) +some time + to do sth.花一段时间做某事。
Step 5 Summary
Ask student some question about the story, then let students learn to retell the story to
class.
