摘要:Many employees in today鈥檚 organizations are involved in more than one team at the same time. Building on the challenge鈥恏indrance stressor framework, this study investigates potential benefits and disadvantages of such multiple team membership (MTM) for individual employees. Furthe
rmore, we extend this framework with insights from the job demands鈥恟esources model to propo that, depending on an employee鈥檚 organizational tenure, individual MTM will differentially shape his or her perceptions of work challenge and role ambiguity, subquently influencing the employee鈥檚 job performance and abnteeism. We tested our conceptual model using time鈥恖agged multi鈥恠ource data from a
large organization of applied rearch (N = 1211). Our results demonstrate that, for employees with relatively low organizational tenure,
