大河村遗址山木 材与不材
原文:庄子行于山中,见大木枝叶盛茂,伐木者止其旁而不取也。问其故,曰:“无所可用。”庄子曰:“此木以不材得终其天年
    夫子出于山,舍于故人之家。故人喜,命竖子杀雁而烹之。竖子请曰:“其一能鸣,其一不能鸣,请奚杀?”主人曰:“杀不能鸣者。”
    明日,弟子问于庄子曰:“昨日山中之木,以不材得终其天年,今主人之雁,以不材死;先生将何处?”
    庄子笑曰:“周将处乎材与不材之间。材与不材之间,似之而非也,故未免乎累。若夫乘道德而浮游则不然,无誉无訾,一龙一蛇,与时俱化,而无肯专为;一上一下,以和为
量,浮游乎万物之祖,物物而不物于物,则胡可得而累邪!此神农、黄帝之法则也。若夫万物之情,人伦之传,则不然。合则离,成则毁;廉则挫,尊则議,有为则亏,贤则谋,不肖则欺,胡可得而必乎哉!悲夫!弟子志之,其唯道德之乡乎!”
译文:庄子行走于山中,看见一棵大树枝叶十分茂盛,伐木的人停留在树旁却不去动手砍伐。问他们是什么原因,说:“没有什么用处。”庄子说:“这棵树就是因为不成材而能够终享天年啊!”
    庄子走出山来,留宿在朋友家中。朋友高兴,叫童仆杀鹅款待他。童仆问主人:“一只能叫,一只不能叫,请问杀哪一只呢?”主人说:“杀那只不能叫的。”
    第二天,弟子问庄子:“昨日遇见山中的大树,因为不成材而能终享天年,如今主人的鹅,因为不成材而被杀掉;先生十八大开幕式如果是你,你将怎样对待呢?”
   
庄子笑道:“我将处于成材与不成材之间。处于成材与不成材之间,好像是恰当的,其实不然,这样不能免于拘束与劳累。假如能顺应自然而自由自在地游乐也就不是这样。没有赞誉没有诋毁,时而像龙一样腾飞时而像蛇一样蜇伏,跟随时间的推移而变化,而不愿偏滞于某一方面;时而进取时而退缩,一切以顺和作为度量,优游自得地生活在万物的初始状态,役使外物,却不被外物所役使,那么,怎么会受到外物的拘束和劳累呢?这就是神
农、黄帝的处世原则。至于说到万物的真情,人类的传习,就不是这样的。有聚合也就有离析,有成功也就有毁败;棱角锐利就会受到挫折,尊显就会受到倾覆,有为就会受到亏损,贤能就会受到谋算,而无能也会受到欺侮,怎么可以一定要偏滞于某一方面呢!可悲啊!弟子们记住了,恐怕还只有归向于自然吧!”
汉译英:When Zhuang Zi walks in a mountain and saw a huge tree with luxuriant branches and leaves, while the lumberjack just stood by and did not cut it down. Zhuang Zi felt confud and asked him why, the man said : it has no u..Zhuang Zi signs : the tree escape the fate of being cut due to its uless!.
        After Zhuang Zi walks out of the mountain, he went to e a friend and stay at his home for a night. His friend was happy and ask the houboy to kill a goo for supper. The houboy asked, there are two gee, one can cackle, while the other can not, so which one to be killed?. His friend said, to kill the dumb one.
        The next day, one of the disciple of Zhuang Zi asked his teacher : the tree in the mountain we saw yesterday avoid being cut becau its of no u, but the goo of your
friend got killed due to its uless, so sir, whats your choice?
        Zhuang Zi replied with a smile : 小米绿豆粥“i shall stand between uful and uless. Standing between them ems appropriate, while it玉米的营养s not true, you still cannot shake off restriction and tiredness. If one could live and enjoy a life comply with the nature, then everything must be different. No prai and slander, lives like a dragon or a snake from time to time, and changes with time goes by, but never constrain himlf to any one side; moving forward or retreat from time to time, always in harmony with all his surroundings, and live leisurely among the initial state of everything, taking charge of any other thing while does not control by them, thus he wont be bothered by external things, will he? racedAnd that is the philosophy of life of Shen Nong and Huang Di. As for the true feelings of everything, the traditional custom and folklore, are not like this. 上海东林寺Union brings on paration; success, overthrow; sharp corners, the u of the file; honour, critical remarks; active exertion, failure; wisdom, scheming; inferiority, being despid, so one cannot prone to any one side! How sad it is! My disciples, plea remember your abode be here,-- in the Tâo and its Attributes.

秋水篇 鱼之乐
原文:庄子与惠子游于濠梁之上。庄子曰:“鲦鱼出游从容,是鱼之乐也?”惠子曰:“子非鱼,安知鱼之乐?”庄子曰:“子非我,安知我不知鱼之乐?”惠子曰:“我非子,固不知子矣;子固非鱼也,子之不知鱼之乐全矣!”庄子曰:“请循其本。子曰‘汝安知鱼乐’云者,既已知吾知之而问我。我知之濠上也。”
译文:庄子和惠子一道在濠水的桥上游玩。庄子说:“白鲦鱼游得多么悠闲自在,这就是鱼儿的快乐。”惠子说:“你不是鱼,怎么知道鱼的快乐?”庄子说:“你不是我,怎么知道我不知道鱼儿的快乐?”惠子说:“我不是你,固然不知道你;你也不是鱼,你不知道鱼的快乐,也是完全可以肯定的。”庄子说:“还是让我们顺着先前的话来说。你刚才所说的‘你如何知道鱼的快乐’的话,就是已经知道了我知道鱼儿的快乐而问我,而我则是在濠水的桥上知道鱼儿快乐的。”
The Autumn Floods——the happiness of fish
汉译英:Some day Zhuang Zi went sighteing with Hui Zi on the bridge of Hao Shui (name river, in Anhui Province). Zhuang Zi pointed at the fish in the water, and said to Hui Zi : how joyful and free the fish ems!. While Hui Zi answered : well, you are not fish, how can you know the happiness of the fish?混合拍子”. Zhuang Zi replied : you are not me, how can you know whether i know the happiness of the fish?. Hui Zi answered with a lf-satisfied smile : 初中日记“like you said, i am not you, surely i do not know you, so is true between you and fish, you are not fish, so its absolutely that you can never tell the happiness of the fish!. Zhuang Zi shook his head and replied with a smile : plea back to what you said just now, you said how— do you know the happiness of the fish, which means youve already known that i know the fish is happy, and you just want to ask at what time i get to know the happiness of the fish, well i know that since we walk on this bridge!
齐物论 庄周梦蝶
原文:昔者庄周梦为胡蝶,栩栩然胡蝶也。自喻适志与!不知周也。俄然觉,则蘧蘧(qú 惊喜的样子)然周也。 不知周之梦为胡蝶与?胡蝶之梦为周与?周与胡蝶则必有分矣。此之谓物化
译文:庄周梦见自己变成一只蝴蝶,飘飘荡荡,十分轻松惬意。他这时完全忘记了自己是庄周。过一会儿,他醒来了,对自己还是庄周感到十分惊奇疑惑。他认真的想了又想,不知道是庄周做梦变成蝴蝶呢,还是蝴蝶做梦变成了庄周?庄周与蝴蝶一定是有分别的。这便称之为物我的转化吧。
On Leveling all things——dreamed of becoming a butterfly
汉译英:Zhuang Zhou (known as Zhuang Zi) one day dreamed that he became a butterfly, flying joyfully among flowers and fields, so plead and satisfied that he even forgot who he was. Soon after he woke up, he felt rather surprid that he was still himlf. He try to think over and over again, but still cannot figure out that whether he himlf dreamed of turning into a butterfly or the butterfly dreamed of turning into him (vice versa)? Nevertheless, Zhuang Zhou must have something different from the butterfly and this was called the transformation between human-beings and substances.
