2. Pair work: Finding your way
Students practice according to the 4 instructions in pairs to get better grasp of asking for and giving directions. After practice, some pairs are chon to give performances.

II Passage B—Chinatown in London

How much do you know about Chinatown? What do you think it means to Chine and Foreigners? (with reference to a video )
2. Background Information:
A Chinatown is an ethnic enclave of Chine or Han people located outside mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan, most often in an urban tting. Areas known as "Chinatown" exist throughout the world, including Asia, Australia, the Americas, Africa and Europe.
The development of most Chinatowns typically resulted from mass migration to an area without any, or with very few Chine residents. Notable early examples outside Asia include San Francisco's Chinatown in the United States and Melbourne's Chinatown in Australia, which were founded in the mid-19th century during the California gold rush and Victoria gold rush respectively.
