As the mentioned above, we should learn the synonyms systematically.
Moreover, the synonyms can still be divided into Absolute Synonyms and relative synonyms according to the linguistic experts. Absolute synonyms are words which are fully identical in meaning. There are a few absolute synonyms can be found in scientific terms, such as word-formation-----word-building, as well as ordinary language, such as motherland-----mother country. The couple of words can substitute each other in most contexts. For example; I miss my motherland or I miss my mother country. Nevertheless, the kinds of words are not so large in number; the quantity of the words is very small. Still, relative synonyms can be en everywhere and it differ from absolute synonyms in six aspects. I will give the brief introduction about the six aspects as follows:
