In the UK and US there are some strange traditions for bringing yourlf a little more good luck. Some are hundreds of years old and some are much newer.
Have you heard the saying "When you wish upon a star"? If you are looking up at the sky on a clear night and you e a sudden flash of light, it is probably a shooting star! 4.For twelve children aged between ten and fifteen, Saturdays are spent learning the art of cooking. Their weekly lessons in small class are so popular that there is a waiting list of 30 children who want to do the cour. Parents pay £280 for the cour where their children can have fun and learn how to make good food.
Class member Bill, aged ten, says, "I love my mom's cooking and now I can do it better than her. The teachers always make us laugh, especially when we sit down with them to share the food we've made."

5.Mealtimes in China are not very fixed, they depend on the individual (个人), But with the timetables of work and school, the common mealtimes for Chine are usually the three: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Let's e how they are different.
Breakfast-- Simple
Usually children go to school before 8 o'clock, so their breakfast time is usually at around 7 o'clock. Chine office workers usually have breakfast before 8:30 or 9:00. The most common breakfast food is soya-- bean milk (豆浆), deep-fried dough sticks (油条), porridge or rice noodles. Most Chine hurry to have breakfast and some of them even finish breakfast on the bus or on the way to catch the bus.
Lunch-- Fast
Lunchtime is usually around noon, when Chine take a break from work or class. The menu is usually simple: noodles or rice, plus some meat and vegetables, no more than three dishes. Most people don't go far for lunch, or go to big restaurants. They usually eat at school or the company canteen.
Dinner-- Big
Usually dinnertime is Dinner has become the most important meal for many Chine. The dishes usually include soup, a variety of meat and vegetables, and rice, becau dinner is a meal to enjoy with the family. Most Chine go home after school or work, but some go to restaurants for dinner with friends. If you go to local restaurants, you will find that people often go with veral friends or families.
According to the diet scientists, we should have a rich breakfast with sorts of nutrition, a great lunch which can make us full, a simple dinner to help with a healthy body. Should we Chine change our minds?
