The highly efficient GT24/GT26 turbines’ advanced design features annular combustors, welded rotors and unique
quential combustion technology. This powerful combination of innovative features allows the GT24/GT26 to achieve high performance output. The turbines’ combustion technology, which is exclusive to Alstom, burns fuel in two, dry low-NO x combustor stages.
Designed to accommodate fluctuating fuel types, Alstom’s gas turbines also deliver a choice of operating modes – performance optimid or maintenance cost optimid. The first produces maximum performance and output, while the cond allows for longer intervals between rvice, reducing maintenance costs. Gas power plant operators can switch between the modes of operation in real-time while the power plant is on-line. No changes to hardware are required.
