How to Correctly Understand and Translate the Compound words Formed from Here-, There- and Where- in Foreign Trade and Economic Contract
Introduction
Translating a business contrate is not as easy as we thought .As legal document, Contracts is a kind of practical writing style, it always focus on documentary. The characteristics of business contract wording in English are formal, accurate and rigorous. When we translate contracts, some words in the phra word documents, particularly compound adverbs for official documents are needed, using the words will make the structure of the text compact, conci and comprehensive.
Documental adverb is one kind of English compound adverb. Compound words frequently ud in the contrate are formed from here-, there- and where- .It is made by combining adverb here, there, where and adverb after, by , in, of, on, to, under, upon,etc.

1.Compound adverb formed from Here-

Here is an adverb, but it can also be ud as an compound adverb by associating with after, at, above, by, from, in, of, on, to, under, upon and with .such as hereafter、hereat、hereby、herefrom、herein思维与智慧、hereinabove、hereinafter、hereinbefore、hereinbelow、hereinto学不可以已、hereof、 hereon、hereto、 heretofore, hereunder飘的组词、 hereunto同学相伴、hereupon、herewith,etc.
Even though there so many compound adverb formed from Here-, at prent, some of this formed compound adverbs are not be ud in contrate any more. Then I will list some often-ud word in nowadays English contrate writing.
Documental adverb formed from Here-:Hereby, Hereto , Herein, hereof hereinafter. The adverbs are not only ud in document,such as report,but also ud in contrate,agreement,etc. Some examples as follow:

1.1.1Hereby,the meaning of this adverb in the contrate is "by means of this, as a result of this document or utterance". It is usually at the beginning of some formal documents such as contrate,agreement.

1.1.2.Hereof means "of this document, of or concerning this".
"In the ca Party A decides not to continue with the progress of Works, this Contract shall be terminated under Article 10 hereof." the adverb hereof in this ntence means of the contrate which mentioned above.
1.1.3.Hereto means"to this writing, document or matter."

In "unfair competition mentioned herein",herein means"in this Law"；The adverb herein in this ntence means the team company in this low.

Hereinafter means"further on in this document, in a subquent part of this document or statement or matter", it usually ud combined with phras such as to be referred to as, referred to as, called and so on .
2.Compound adverb formed from there-
There can also be ud as an compound adverb by associating with in ,of, after ,to with and so on .
2.1.Therein has tho English meanings of" in that; in that particular context; in that respect".
"Temporary Works"means all temporary works of every kind (other than the Contractor’s Equipment) required in or about the execution and completion of the works and the remedying of any defects therein. ". "the remedying of any defects therein"，the adverb therein here has a meaning of "in the Works".
