摘要：This arithmetic operation device caus a convolution operator to execute
convolution operation of a filter and target data equivalent to the size of the filter in each of a plurality of convolutional layers that constitute a neural network. The arithmetic operation device has: a bit reduction unit that reduces, for each of the convolutional layers, a bit stream equivalent to a first number of bits from the least significant bit of the target data and reduces a bit stream equivalent to a cond number of bits from the least significant bit of a weight which is an element of the filter; and a bit addition unit that adds a bit stream equivalent to a third number of bits obtained by totaling the first number of bits and the cond number of bits, to the least significant bit of a convolution operation result outputted from the convolution operator when the weight and the target data after the reduction by the bit reduction part have been inputted to the convolution operator.
