摘要：A detonator asmbly (10) is provided. The detonator asmbly (10) compris a deflagration to detonation transition body (12), a first thermally stable condary explosive (14) contained by the body (12), and a bulkhead (22) coupled to the
deflagration to detonation transition body (12). The bulkhead (22) contains pressure within the body (12) associated with firing the detonator asmbly (10) at least until a transition from a deflagration operation mode of the detonator asmbly (10) to a detonation operation mode of the detonator asmbly (10) has occurred. A cond thermally stable condary explosive (18) may alternatively be included in the deflagration to detonation transition body (12), either parated from the first thermally stable condary explosive (14) or mixed with the first thermally stable condary explosive (14). The detonator asmbly (10) compris effectively no primary explosive.
