摘要：PURPOSE:To increa the torque of an ultrasonic wave motor by pressure-contacting a rotor with a vibrating member on which a thickness slip piezoelectric vibrator and a thickness longitudinal piezoelectric vibrator are mounted to enhance the conversion efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A thickness slip piezoelectric vibrator 11 is held in the air gap of a vibrating member having large mechanical Q, i.e., U-shaped member 11, and bonded fixedly. A pair of thickness longitudinal piezoelectric vibrators 13a, 13b are mounted at both shoulders of the outside faces of the coupling end of the member 11. A rotor 14 having a shaft 14a is dispod so that one side is contacted with the vibrators 13a, 13b. Elastic members 15, 16 are mounted at both sides of the lower end of a U-shaped member 12 to hold the entire ultrasonic motor stably. AC electric signals of equal frequency to resonance frequency of the entire vibration system are applied to terminals T1-T6.
