变化系动词
⼀、become和get
1.become 和get主要指⼀个⼈暂时性的⾝⼼变化或永久性的⾃然变化。如:become/get angry⽣⽓      become/get famous成名become/get fat发胖        become/get ill得病
become/get old变⽼        become/get well痊愈
become/get deaf变聋        become/get strong变强
etc.
(1)The travelers became / got thirsty. 旅客们渴了。
(2)The noi of traffic is becoming a cau for
concern. 交通噪⾳已经开始引起⼈们的关注。
2. become 和 get 还可⽤于指天⽓的变化和社会的趋势(1)It’s becoming/getting cold (dark, cloudy).            天渐冷了(⿊了,多云了)。
(2)Divorce is becoming [getting] more common.
离婚现象越来越常见了。
3. become后接词类
1)名词 become接名词作表语时,名词前通常⽤不定冠词。
(1)They became great friends. 他们成了莫逆之交。
(2)He aims[eɪm]对准,⽬标to打算become a computer expert
[ˈekspɜ:t]专家. 他打算当⼀名电脑专家。
(3)She has become a painter[ˈpeɪntə(r)]画家  of
distinction[dɪˈstɪŋkʃn]卓越 .
她成了⼀名杰出的画家。
(4)It’s becoming a rious problem.
它正在成为⼀个严重问题。
2)  形容词
(1)She became very fond[fɒnd]喜欢的  of喜欢 her.
她变得⾮常喜欢她了。
(2)He soon became angry. 他过了⼀会⼉就⽣⽓了。
(3)She has become familiar[fəˈmɪliə(r)]熟悉的  with熟悉
the hou.
她已经变得熟悉这所房⼦了。
/She is already [ɔ:lˈredi]已经familiar with the hou.
(4)I’ve become ud to习惯于 a vegetarian [ˌvedʒəˈteəriən]        素⾷者的diet [ˈdaɪət]饮⾷. 我已习惯于素⾷。

3. 过去分词
(1)They had just become engaged[ɪnˈgeɪdʒd]已订婚的 .
他们刚刚订婚。/They are just engaged.
(2)At last the truth[tru:θ]真相 became known to us.
我们终于知道了真相。
(3)The room soon became crowded[ˈkraʊdɪd]拥挤的 .
房间很快变得拥挤起来。
(4)Jamie was becoming annoyed[əˈnɔɪd]恼怒的 with me.
杰⽶变得对我不⾼兴起来。
/Jamie is beginning to get angry with me.
其后⼀般不接不定式
(1)他开始对⽣物感兴趣了。
误:He became to be interested in biology.
正:He became interested in biology [baɪˈɒlədʒi]⽣物 . (2)于是我们开始喜欢他了。
误:Then we became to like him.
正:Then we began /came to like him.
1. ⽤作连系动词,其后可接名词、形容词、过去分词等作表语。如:
His dream had now become a reality. 他的梦想现在成了现实。
Gradually they became silent. 他们逐渐沉默起来。
The sky became suddenly overcast with clouds. 突然天空变得乌云密布。

⼆、go和come
< 和come表⽰变化时,前者主要指⼀种由强到弱或由好到坏的变化(可⽤于⼈或事物),后者则主要指向好的⽅⾯变化。
(1)go bald [bɔ:ld]光秃的变秃

go deaf [def]聋的变聋
go insane [ɪnˈɪn]疯狂的发疯
(2)The meat’s gone[gɒn] off不新鲜的(gone bad).
⾁变味(变坏)了。
(3)The radio’s gone wrong. 收⾳机出⽑病了。
(4)The milk has gone sour. 这⽜奶馊了。
(5)Fish soon goes bad in hot day. 天热时鱼坏得快。
(6)The children must not go hungry. 孩⼦们不应挨饿。
(7) She went pale [peɪl]苍⽩的 at the news.
听了这消息她脸⾊变得苍⽩。
(8)The children came wild[waɪld]野⽣的,狂热的 with
excitement [ɪkˈsaɪtmənt]兴奋 .  孩⼦们欣喜若狂。/孩⼦们兴奋得发狂。
(9)Her wish came true. 她的愿望实现了。
(10)Everything came right. ⼀切顺利。
(11)The buttons came unfastened. 扣⼦松开了。
(12)That day her wish finally came true.
那⼀天,她的愿望终于实现了。
(13)Everything will come right in the end.
最终⼀切问题都会得到圆满解决。
(14)The handle has come loo. 这个⼿柄松了。
(15)This envelope[ˈenvələʊp]信封 has come unstuck
[ˌʌnˈstʌk]未粘的 .  这封信开了。
(16)Wrong never comes right. 错的永远不会变成对的。
The package[ˈpækɪdʒ]包裹  is about to come unwrapped
[ʌnˈræp]拆开 . 那个包快散开了
<还可⽤于⼈或事物颜⾊的变⾊,与turn⽤法相同。
部门法(1)She went/turned blue with cold.
她冻得脸⾊发青了。
番茄花
(2)The rotten[ˈrɒtn]腐烂的 meat went/turned green.
这块腐烂的⾁变绿了。
(3)His hair is going grey[ɡreɪ]灰⽩的.
他的头发⽇见花⽩。
(4)She went / turned a deathly [ˈdeθli].死⼀般的/地
shade [ʃeɪd]阴影  of while[waɪl]在…期间 when
she heard the news.
他听到这个消息时吓得⾯⽆⼈⾊。
<后还可接介词短语
They went out离开of fashion[ˈfæʃn]时尚  years ago⼏年前.好多年前它们已不流⾏了。/他们⼏年前就过时了。
【注】①但是 go ⼀般不与 old, tired, ill 等连⽤,遇此情况要⽤其他连系动词:
grow /get old 变⽼,
fall/become ill (sick) ⽣病,
get/feel tired 疲劳
② go后接形容词通常表⽰结果(见上例),在个别搭配中也表⽰现状:go hungry 挨饿,go naked 光着⾝⼦
③ come 除表⽰向好的⽅⾯变化外,还有以下常见搭配值得注意:come untied[ʌnˈtaɪ]解开.解开
come loo[lu:s]松的. 变松,
come undone[ʌnˈdʌn]松开松开
素履以往(1)Your shoe-laces have come undone.
你的鞋带散了。
三、 grow (变得)
(1)He is growing old. 他渐渐⽼了。
(2)She grew [gru:]  pale. 她⾯⾊转为苍⽩。
(3)It grew dark. 天⾊变暗了。
(4)I grew / came to like the dog.
我渐渐喜欢上这条狗。
/I gradually [ˈgrædʒuəli]逐步地 fell in love
with 与…相爱,爱上the dog.
(5)The pollution[pəˈlu:ʃn]污染  problem is growing
rious [ˈsɪəriəs]严重的 .
污染问题⽇见严峻。
(6) The a is growing calm [kɑ:m]平静的 .
⼤海变得平静起来。

四、 turn (变得)
turn接名词作表语时,往往表⽰意想不到的变化,名词前通常不⽤冠词。become接名词作表语时,名词前通常⽤不定冠词。
(1)He turned teacher after he graduated[ˈgrædʒueɪtɪd]毕业  from a medical[ˈmedɪkl]医学的 college.
他从医学院毕业后当了⽼师。
(⽐较:He became a writer after graduating from college.)
(2)His fascination [ˌfæsɪˈneɪʃn]魅⼒;迷恋 for books and    literature[ˈlɪtrətʃə(r)]⽂学 saw him become a best
known [nəʊn]已知的;知名的.author [ˈɔ:θə(r)]作者;作家.著名的
对书籍与⽂学的迷恋使他成为了⼀位很有名望的作家。/His fascination with books and literature made him
the most famous writer.
五、run
run dry 变⼲                run short 不够,
run wild ⽆约束或荒芜,    run cold 变冷
1.run⽤作连系动词只限于和少数形容词搭配。
■run cold
(1)My blood [blʌd]⾎液  ran cold. 我的⾎都凉了。
(2)The sight [saɪt]看见  of the dead body [ded ˈbɔdi] 死⼫
made his blood run cold.
