征信信用查询PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus who maximum power consumption is restrained and which can restrain the power supply capacitance of a power supply device incorporated in the image forming apparatus.
SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 10 is equipped with an ADF motor for driving a document feeding mechanism in an automatic document feeder, and a carriage motor for driving a document reading mechanism for reading a document on a document platen, and further equipped with two heaters comprising a fixing main heater 16 and a fixing sub heater 17 as the heater of a fixing device to fix toner on sheet material. The power consumption of the fixing sub heater 17 is equal to or under that of the fixing main heater 16, and the fixing sub heater 17 is turned on simultaneously with the start of driving the ADF motor and the carriage motor or the start of driving either the ADF motor or the carriage motor.
