Cour 1:    Civil Engineering Generality
Credit:  1

This undergraduate cour is designed to introduce the overview of civil engineering and the curriculum of the undergraduate program. The fundamentals of good oral and written communication skills for the Civil Engineer are emphasized. An introduction to engineering library resources is also included.
Cour 2:    Computer Culture Foundation
Credit:  3
Semester hours:  48 hours (18 hours of lecture and 30 hours of computer lab study)
Form of evaluation:    midterm & final examination, plus one project assignment. 
This undergraduate cour covers topics related to word processing, spreadsheet, databa, u of the school’s local area network, Internet access and usage for rearch, interfacing computers with laboratory instruments and the calculator, multimedia, visualization techniques (such as graphing), and an initial introduction to computer programming process using Language C++.
Cour 3:    Advanced Mathematics A (Calculus I )

Semester hours:  80 hours (lecture)
Form of evaluation:    midterm & final examination

Cour 4:    Graphic Geometry and Cartography A

This cour introduces technical drafting from the fundamentals through advanced drafting practices. Teaches lettering, metric construction, technical sketching, orthographic projection, ctions, interctions, development, fasteners, theory and applications of dimensioning and tolerances. Includes pictorial drawing, and preparation of working and detailed drawings.
Cour 5:    Music Appreciation

Semester hours:    16 hours (lecture and studio)
Form of evaluation:    final examination
This cour aim to improve students understanding of music history and theories through appreciation of both classic music and popular music.
Cour 6:    Mentality and Morality Culture & Law Foundation
Credit:    3
Semester hours:    48 hours (lecture)
Form of evaluation:    final examination
This undergraduate cour is designed to learn the fundamental theories of psychology, mental health and morality in the East and the West. Basic judicial knowledge and lab moral norms will also be included in the text.

Form of evaluation:    midterm & final examination 
This undergraduate cour covers calculus, differential calculus for functions of veral variable, double and triple integrals, convergence of quences and ries, and reprentation铅笔的故事 of functions as power ries, differential equations( first order ordinary differential equations, cond order linear equations, linear systems of ordinary differential equations, numerical methods.)
Cour 3:    College Physics A

An introduction to the ideas and techniques ud in the study of motion and Newton’s laws of motion, one-dimensional motion, cond order differential equations, harmonic oscillators (damped, forced), vector analysis, conrvation laws, three-dimensional motion, central forces, motion in electromagnetic fields, collisions, center-of-mass transformations, two-body problem, numerical/computer solutions, coupled oscillators. Rigid body rotation, statics, elasticity, fluid equilibrium, gravitation, waves.
