Main Idea
The brave new world, as the title, is introduced in a special way. As the Director of the world and Mr. Foster were teaching the young students, a picture of the place started to be pictured in our mind.
It was a society where people were born by genetic hatching instead of reproduction and they were also born to be divided into five castes by conditioning: from Alpha the highest to Epsilon the lowest. Therefore, people there have no choice but to do different jobs according to their social status. What was bad was that they are even numb with this unfairness. Under this control, an Alpha called Bernard, who was suppod to be the highest class and do the ruling work actually led an unhappy life, becau he was shorter than his peers due to a conditioning bug. Additionally, he was also considered very weird
with his weird thinking and behavior. Lenina was a Beta who neither needed to bear the important responsibility as an Alpha does nor to toil in a bad environment like an Epsilon. Bernard and Lenina made a big discovery during a trip in New Mexico in the USA. They found many savages in the rervation named Malpais, where people still remained the old lifestyle that had already been discarded or banned in the civilized area. What’s more, they met Linda, a civilized woman and his son there. It’s so astonishing and shameful for a civilized woman to be pregnant that she was left. As well as her son John, she suffered the discrimination, teasing and bullying from the local Indian people. She told them that John was smart and talented, even though parated from civilization, he still learned many words and was especially interested in Shakespeare‘s works. At the end of the journey, Bernard decided to take Linda and John back to London.

Introductions about hatcheries and conditioning centers and information on the procedure of a person from genetic birth to growing conditioning.

Introductions about the main characters――Bernard, Helmholtz, Lenina as well as others and their life. It reflects the real situations of different castes.
Part 1--Chapter 7 ~ Chapter 8:
Bernard and Lenina met Linda and her son John during the journey in New Mexico, and they brought the mother and son back to London.
Part 2--Chapter 9 ~ Chapter 15:
John suffered a lot in his brave new world London: meeting with his father, unhappy relationship with Lenina and Linda’s death…which bewildered, shocked and hurt him.
Part 2--Chapter 16 ~ Chapter 17:
John went mad with his mother’s passing away so he tried to stop everything in that hospital to wake people up but it turned out to be an interrogation by the controller Mustapha.
Part 2--Chapter 18:
After the talk with the controller, John fell into desperation, left for an island and committed suicide in the end.
Reflection
Background analysis
Brave New World is a novel written in 1931 by Aldous Huxley. Together with Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell and We byЕвгений Иванович Замятин, they three were considered the greatest 魔芋葡甘聚糖dystopian works.
This story is bad on the background of 1930s where the Great Depression was still vere, Ford created a line production of cars which boosted the economy. So we can e the author got his idea of line production of babies from that. What’s more, people in this story calling “Ford” instead of“God” was also due to this fact that people’s thanks and admiration to Ford.
Moral analysis

However, under the wonderful life lay the ugliest sides of human: everything was preordained. From birth to death, people were genetically designed and conditioned.
