高考英语专项复习:过去分词短语作状语分类练习
过去分词由于其内在的语法特征,常常有被动的含义。过去分词短语做状语,与主句主语之间常构成被动关系;所表示的时间,往往发生在主句谓语动词之前。一般来说,过去分词作状语,有三种不同的分类标准:1)就状语类型而言,过去分词短语在句子中常常做原因状语、条件状语、时间状语、伴随状语、让步状语等等;2)就逻辑关系而言,过去分词短语做状语时,既可以表示主句主语的状态特征、心理感受,也可以表示与主句主语之间构成被动完成关系; 3)就句子结构类型而言,分为过去分词短语作状语、含有过去分词的独立主格结构作状语、含有过去分词的with的复合结构作状语和if, unless, once, when, while, though, although, as if/though等引导的省略句作状语等。
(一)以逻辑关系为划分标准:
1.过去分词作状语表示主语的状态特征:

2.过去分词作状语表示主语的心理感受:

3)_______ (satisfy) with what he did in the English Speech Contest, his teacher praid him.
4)_______ (disappoint) at the result of the game, he stood there, saying nothing.加大力度

3.过去分词作状语与主语之间构成被动关系:

4.在状语从句中,如果省略if,when,while, though,although等连词,过去分词与主句主语之间
构成被动关系。

(三)以过去分词短语在句子中所作的状语类型为划分标准:
1.原因状语:
