今天我们接着来看第76课的“每课一句”。
一、课文原文
Lesson 76 April Fools’ Day
'To end our special news bulletin,' said the voice of the television announcer, 'we are taking you to the macaroni fields of Calabria. Macaroni has been grown in this area for over six hundred years. Two of the leading growers, Giuppe Moldova and Riccardo Brabante, tell me that they have been expecting a splendid crop this year and harvesting has begun earlier than usual. Here you can e two workers who, between them, have just finished cutting three cartloads of golden brown Macaroni stalks. The whole village has been workin
g day and night gathering and threshing this year's crop before the September rains. On the right, you can e Mrs. Brabante herlf. She has been helping her husband for thirty years now. Mrs. Brabante is talking to the manager of the local factory where the crop is procesd. This last scene shows you what will happen at the end of the harvest: the famous Calabria macaroni-eating competition! Signor Fratelli, the prent champion, has won it every year since 1961. And that ends our special bulletin for today, Thursday, April 1st. We are now returning you to the studio.'

二、每课一句
经典战争片Here you can e two workers who, between them, have just finished cutting three cartloads of golden brown Macaroni stalks.
英语常用口语要注意本句话中的“between them”原本是可以放在句末的，但作者却做了提前，并且前后用逗号隔开。这样既可以强调three cartloads of ... stalks所处的位置，同时又考虑到了句子尾重的原理（即重要的成分最后才出现），把three cartloads of ... stalks放到了句末。
在本文中有多处类似的用法。再比如：
On the right, you can e Mrs. Brabante herlf.

这句话原本可以这么说：
You can e Mrs. Brabante herlf on the right.
酱大骨怎么做
但这样处理的话，句子的重心就落在了Mrs. Brabante站在什么位置，而不是Mrs. Brabante本人了。作者之所以把on the right放到句首，就是为了凸显Mrs. Brabante本人。

全文的主题是愚人节，而在这天，就连广播电台的主持人也利用这个节日，跟观众们开起来了玩笑，“愚弄”了听众一回。
