I. The analysis of the teaching material and students(教材学生分析):
Before this period, students have learned lesson 1 What’s so Fanny? and Lesson 2 Laughter is the Best Medicine. Naturally, they have learned British humor and also known how they can relea themlves in daily life. Chine students are usually under great pressure, so they must benefit a lot from them. Today,we’ll come to lesson 3,a real comedy. Considering students may lack interest in Reading activity,I’ll first show them some pictures and a video from Mr. Bean to motivate them.

Share the main information about the 6 comedians. Naturally, come to the video Mr. Bean and emphasize the last one’s real name’s Rowan Atkinson.

T, Read again to find more detailed information about the text. Read the tasks together with students.
T, You can try to make inferences between lines in the context. And underline the answers in the related paragraphs.
First Work alone and then discuss together to finish the tasks. T, Volunteers?
Check and encourage which paragraph students can find the answers or clues. Demonstrate how they can get the information about Task5. Give them a big hand
