There are many people who were instrumental in this invention, yet Tomas Edison is the primary inventor. He is also the most well-known one, for he created a completely functional lighting system (Wolchover 2016). The inventions of light bulb have thoroughly changed human’s life and promoted the development of mankind. Therefore, light bulb is one of the ten greatest invention in human history. Although it has been long time ago since the light bulb was invented, it still has many important meanings to my life.

Without the light bulb, the transportations can not run in the evening and some dark days. Without light bulbs, people cannot e anything inside of the subway. For example, scientists and engineer are accessible to go into deep ocean, dark cave, or some mysterious areas like that. People can only know little about tho places without light bulb, for there are so dark. With the light bulbs, we can explore the mysteries
and exploit uful energy. We can learn more about the world with the help of light bulbs. Also, some energies we found in deep layer of the earth become effective energy we ud today, such as petroleum which are most important source for human beings. For instance, a lot of daily commodities are made up of the petroleum. Additionally, we can u light bulb to carve and produce very delicate art work, like rings.
