Directions: People should be realistic rather than romantic in order to live a better life. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? U specific reasons to support your answer.
I have never yet met a child who is not a born romantic. Every child fantasizes. Although an adult should never completely lo the light of his childhood of imagination, I agree that sooner or later we have to knuckle down to reality.
Take the reality of career for example…
Apartment… a hou … a car ,,,
Supremely, of cour, the romantic gets himlf or herlf into most difficulty when it come to love and marriage… The glamour of the honeymoon soon gives away to empty hours in which the newlyweds must find meaning.
I agree with the above statement becau it ems to me that even in marriage --- that most potentially romantic of situations --- it all boils down to changing diapers and working overtime. True romance is found only in reality of hard work.

Directions: Some people like different friends. Others like similar friends. Compare the advantages of the two kinds of friends. Which kind of friends do you prefer? Why?
One of the themes that is common to the literature of almost all languages is the idea of friendship. Humans need the warmth and laughter of meeting others. Everyday, male and female, at work and at leisure, people make new friends. Yet we cannot make friends with everybody; we have to choo our friends wily. As a general rule, I prefer to have different friends.
The idea of having similar friends is not without advantages.
We can feel a n of strength when we have a group old friends. … Old friends know how to respect one another and how to avoid potential arguments …
Nonetheless, I reckon that a mixture of friends is more advantageous. We all need to move on in life. New friends can lead to new adventure…
A friend from another country is a real treasure…
I find that different friends help me to enjoy a variety of interests…
In fact, not only do I prefer to have different friends but also prefer to have as many as possible. I remember the English proverb which says “two heads are better than one.”
