摘要：A manufacturing method for a solar cell according to which an integrated thin film solar cell can be manufactured with a high yield and a slotting tool are provided. The bottom (83) of the cutting edge portion (81) of the slotting tool (8) is rectangular that is long in the direction in which the slotting tool moves. The front surface (84) and the rear surface (85) of the cutting edge portion that are located along a line in the direction in which the slotting tool moves cross the bottom (83) at right angles so that the corner portions thereof form cutting edges (86) and (87). The left and right sides of the cutting edge portion are parallel to each other. The thus-formed slotting tool (8) is ud in such a manner that the cutting edge portion is inclined in the direction in which the slotting tool moves while patterning so that the angle formed between the front surface (84) or the rear surface (85) of the cutting edge portion and the upper surface of a substrate (W) is in a range from 50 degrees to 80 degrees.
