摘要：PURPOSE:To reduce the splash of rain water and prevent same from hitting on the side of a structure to prevent the structure from being stained by forming the captioned eaves gutter in such a way that the rain water fallen from the end of a roof material or a drip board does not directly hit on a water surface but hit on the bottom portion of the eaves gutter. CONSTITUTION:An eaves gutter A consisting of a bottom portion 1, a front-side side wall 2, a rear-side side wall 3, a front side rib 6 and a rear side rib 7, etc. is installed to a fascia board 10 by means of a supporting member B in such a way that the rear side rib 7 is positioned on the lower portion of a drip board 13 and that the side wall 3 is clo to the drip board 13 while being parated from the fascia board 10 as far as possible. Rain water which falls down along the drip board 13 does not hit on the water surface of rain water flowing in the deepest place of the bottom portion 1 but hits on the rib 7 and is splashed up toward the front on the opposite side to the fascia board 10.
