So long as teachers fail to distinguish between teaching and learning, they will continue to undertake to do for children that which only children can do for themlves. Teaching children to read is not passing reading on to them. It is certainly not endless hours spent in activities about reading. Teaching and learning are two entirely different process. They differ in kind and function. I was responding to a call from a small brick flat(用砖做的公寓) in a quiet part of town. I assumed I was being nt to pick up some party-goers，or someone who had just had a fight with a lover，or a worker heading to an early shift at some factory for the industrial part of town.
