摘要：Detailed analys of pollen, chemistry and diatoms have been carried out on material taken with a Livingstone corer from the Lower Ley, near Slapton, South Devon, The stratigraphy and the three approaches to reconstructing past events all point to a ries of marked changes within the short ction sampled, and all within pollen zone VIII.
