“The Interlopers”was created when Saki attended in the First World War.He created this cruel, thought-proving and fable-like short story by the omniscient point of view.
brief introduction of the story
Ulrich and George are opponents,their family feud last for three generations.Since the time of their grandparents,their families have been contending the ownership of the woodland which is of no value. One winter night,Ulrich and George both went to the forest to haunt,and both of them were eager to meet and kill each other.However,a huge beech fall down,and the two rivals were pined under the fallen tree and couldn’t reach each other though they were near at hand.Finally,when they decided to be reconcilable with each other and shouted together for rescue,the wolves came.
