The "Lantern girl" Nightingale
In the middle of the nineteenth Century, nurs were in low status. Nightingale,a well born man, determined to t an example and change the situation, he volunteered to be a nur.
In 1854, Britain and Russia went to war in Crimea, andNightingale personally went to the front. She washed, disinfected, bandaged, altered dressings, improved meals, and often knelt on the ground scrubbing floors and washing underwear with blood. She will carry a lamp every night on the 4km line rounds, one by one to e the dia, to the wounded singing, nding comfort and love, without interruption.
