英国社会生活与中国不同,其中你印象最深的是
it is universally acknowledged that equality of opportunity, competition as well as hard work is typical english value.the value i worship most is the equality of opportunity.take job-hunting for example,in the u.k,you don’t bother to add your photographs and your personal information like gender or race into your curriculum vitae.while in china ,things go differently, xism is a vere problem:women still do not receive as high salaries as men do and face more pressure in finding a job even if she is more capable than male employee sometimes.
to some degree, equality of opportunity is penetrated deeply into english life.when it comes to religion, the bible saying that all men and women are equal and therefore have equal potential and should be granted equal opportunity.nay,in routine life, husband and wife share the same duties which is totally different from the family life in china that traditionally husband is regarded as “bread-winner” and the wife as a “home-maker”. it is universally acknowledged that there are many differences between the u.k and china. what has impresd me most is english health and social rvices system.
