Recently the issue of whether or not kindness has been abnt nowadays has been in the limelight and has aroud wide concern in society. To this issue, different people come up with various attitudes. Some people think that kindness does no longer exit any more in the society. While some consider it is unreasonable to say that kindness has been abnt.
First of all, what actually is kindness? The definition of winning may remind us of a lot of things. To give a hand to a stranger is kindness. To produce a n of sadness when others are suffering from disasters is kindness. To forgive other even if he does badly to onelf is kindness. Generally speaking, kindness may be defined as the act or the state of being kind, being marked by good and charitable behavior, pleasant disposition, and concern for others.
Kindness, characterized by n of mercy, help and devotion to society, has been missing in the years of great social transformation. In their opinion, under the market economy, the basic principles are the pursuit of personal interest and survival of fittest. So what are valued should be individual choice and the realization of personal value. In such a social co
ntext, many people, especially the young, have become increasingly lf-centered and cold to anything that is not related to them. Kindness ems to be a strange word that is far away from them. So many people draw the conclusion that kindness has been abnt in our life.
As far as I am concerned, there is no doubt that kindness is still in existence in people’s hearts. But so many factors in our society stop people from expressing their kindness. And with the development of society, more and more people ignore the importance of kindness. Such doubt and uncertainty will soon lo their appeals if we explore into the reason of the phenomenon. Here are my reasons.
In the first place, it is generally acknowledged that men at their birth are naturally good. When we were little children, we even did not know how to spell kindness. But we had the n of protecting little animals, helping the young and the old.
Secondly, one of the reasons for people’s disbelief and uncertainty to express their kindness in public is that there are so many cas that the helper are misunderstood in fi
nally. For example, a young man helped an old lady to get up from the ground for the sake of kindness. But to his surpri, the old lady and her family said that it was him that make the lady down.
In conclusion, as to whether or not kindness has been abnt is doubtful, there is a long-running controversial debate. It is quiet natural that different people may have divergent attitudes towards it. But I believe that kindness will play an more important role in the future.
