06 重难语言知识之强调的表达法大全
【重点提示】
一、利用句法表示强调
1、用一般疑问句表示强调：肯定的一般疑问句的意义相当于强调的否定的陈述句的意义；否定的一般疑问句的意义相当于肯定的陈述句的意义。例如：
Is that why you were late again? (=Of cour, that is not the reason why you were late again.)
Isn’t it cruel to say such words when she is in such a mood?(=It is really cruel to say such words when she is in such a mood.)
2、用强调句型“It is/ was…that/who…”表示强调。例如：
It is Tom who should be responsible for the break-down of the car.
It was in the muum that I first saw the ancient drawings.
It is him that I want to have clean my room.
3、用句子的倒装表示强调。例如：
Never shall I forget the day.
Only in this way can way get there.
Not only should you apologize to her, but also you should explain the whole matter to me.
4、用重复句子中某个成分表示强调。例如：
It is far, far from what I required.
I agree with every word you have said---every single word.
二、利用词法表示强调
1、用形容词utter, very, right等表示强调，其中very和right要和this, that, the,人称代词和名词所有个连用。例如：
What she said was utter nonn.
This is the very book I have looked for.
You are the right person to be on behalf of our class.
2、用含强调意义的副词或副词词组(如absolutely，completely等)表示强调。例如：

is absolutely wrong.
I’ll come when I am completely ready.
3、在否定句中用at all, a bit, a damn, let alone, in the least等表示强调。例如：
The student from China cannot speak Chine well, let alone English.

4、用not to mention, not to speak of, to say nothing of等表示强调。例如：
You have broken the whole plan, to say nothing of wasting so much time.
The food is so terrible, not to mention the bedding.
5、在疑问代词和疑问副词后面加on earth, in the world, the hell, the devil, every等表示强调。例如：
What on earth do you want?

6、在形容词和副词的比较级前面加far, even, much, still, a great deal等，在最高级前面加by far, much, by no means等表示强调。例如：
He has made the whole project even more complicated.

7、用助动词do强调谓语动词。例如：

You did give us an encouragement then.
8、用反身代词表示强调。例如：

9、在物主代词或名词所有格后面加own表示强调。例如：
