Vlad Sokhin's interest in climate change came from his early experience. Born in Russia and having spent childhood years in Portugal, Sokhin first made a career as a documentary photographer recording health issues. Yet it was a 2013 assignment to record illegal tree-cutting that convinced him to turn his lens （镜头）to human's impact on the climate.
“I saw how the environment was changing becau of such activities/5 Sokhin says. "But the big picture wasn't there. I thought, "What if I extend a little bit?'" As a book, Warm Waters is by no means a typical travel journal. Sokhin deliberately avoi
