Mona Lisa Smile is 党的建设包括 a funny, inspirin锁成语 g and uplifting film about an art history professor

with a lot to teach about life and much to learn about romance. This movie is one of my

favorite movies. I love this movie not only becau this is the girls’ movie, but also becau

this movie tells us a lot of truth when we grow up.

This film reflects how the women led a life in 1950s. Their school life, social activities

and family life consist of the story structure. The school in the movie is extremely traditional

with dull conventional teaching pattern. Teachers teach students only according to the books

in hand and professors’ records. They don’t express their own thoughts. And they are all

female students and they wil1976年属什么 l get married. The terrible situation, resulted from the social

conditions and school’s atmosphere, oppos students a lot. The perfect conducts are just

arranged for a goal—a happy family with a decent husband. But Katherine changed all the

students at last. This is really a move movie.

There are many famous actress in this moive. I love Betty(Kirsten Caroline Dunst) best.

In this movie, she is a nobleman in theirs co球类 untry. At first, she was very arrogant and she

thought she was 卡尔邓尼茨 superior to others. She was very look down upon to their new teacher,

Katherine. She thought Katherine is stupi小草诗歌 d, foolish and didn’t know what the real moralities

to the women were. But after a failing marriage, she understood what Katherine said before

were right. At last, she changed her mind and respected Katherine very much. Although, at

first, she had many feudal thought and was against with Katherine. But undeniably, she was

still very gifted, clever and charming. She just a little bit stubborn.

Speaking of this point, this movie reminds me of another movie, The Dead Society, the

same conventional school, the same inflexible teaching atmosphere. In that movie, another

brave teacher encouraged his students with novel. One of the difference between this two

movies is, Mona Lisa Smile is for girls and The Dead Society is for boys. Watson Katherine is

the one to break up the fetter. In class, she instructs students to e art works in their own

eyes and express their own feelings. In livelihood, she encourages them to be lf and not to

give up their study or job for the reason of marriage and family. Also, in Dead Society, the

teacher not only encouraged the boys to understood without books and ud their own way,

but also encouraged the boys how to face the life. Though the two heroes get dismisd

finally, which symbolizes that people cannot change the whole society just in individual

power, there is still some hope. Betty, divorced with her husband and student’s suicide are all

symbols of people’s awakening

In a word, I love this movie so much. As far as we are concerned, getting to the root of

the matter, innovation, breakthrough and progress are the eternal theme of the

movie-----Mona Lisa Smile. To some extent, there is no denying that teachers’ advanced

educational ideas, feminism as well as challenges for traditions are a part of great

importance in human centuries-old history. It is the esntial innovation that created the

world nowadays-----a world where women and men are treated equally, a world full of

advanced civilization, rapid progress and dynamism.

One the other hand, this movie reminds me many things. It reminds me that we

should not lock our mind and although we are girls, we also can stronger than the men
