no sooner than的用法

no sooner.than固定用法"一...就..."引导时间状语从句,主句用过去完成时,"than"后面的从句用一般过去时.(从这里可以知道,no sooner后面是主句;than后面是从句)。

1、No sooner had he arrived in Rome than he was kidnapped.

他一抵达罗马就被了。

2、No sooner did Peter remember it than he heard the ticking.

彼得刚想起来，就听到了滴答声。

3、No sooner had he en Heidi, than he smiled, opening his round eyes as wide as possible.

他刚看到小海蒂，就笑了，圆圆的眼睛睁得更大了。
