look for和find的用法区别

look for和find二者区别在于具体意思，强调的重点不同。look forfor 指“寻找”不见的或丢失的东西，find 指“找到了”。

1、look for 指“寻找”不见的或丢失的东西，还没有找到，处在寻找的过程中，强调的是过程、寻找的动作。

People were leaving the countryside in droves to look for work in the cities.

一批一批的人离开农村到城里找工作。

He began to look for another position immediately.

他马上开始寻找另一个职位。

Jane craned her neck to look for her mother in the crowd.

2、find 指“找到了”，表达寻找有了结果，强调的是结果。指偶然间找到的东西，情况等，也可指找到、发现具体的东西。
