Good morning,everyone, Im so glad to be here and make a

prentation. Before my prentation, i’d like to ask you some

you know Li na,the famous tennis athlete in China?

How much do you know about her?

I am sure that many students who have watched the

Australian Tennis Championship on CCTV 5 during winter break.

So today, i would like to talk about my thoughts of this game.

On January 24, Li na won over Sharapova in the women s

singles final. This is the third time that Li na has gone into the

grand slam finals. Once again, On January 26, Li na went against

a new opponent name Azarenka. On that day of the game, Li na

was in the leadin the first inning, but during the cond inning,

she accidently fell down twice. People were shocked and sad

about how she could not continue the game. But becau of the

people being worried, she doggedly continue the game, making

the audience cheer and applauding her for her effort to continue

her game. A t that time ,audience applauded foe her

gh she lost the game, her hard effort and

insistency moved us and motivated us.

And this ca also appreaded in tthe men singles final the

next day. Two opponents named Murray and Djokovic were

against each other. Due to the game, Murrays foot had blisters

that affected the way he played. The doctor had to treat his

wound with medicine. As human beings, if we had blisters on our

foot, we may feel a lot of pain and dont want to walk. However,

as an athlete, Murray had to withstand the pain and strive for the

victory.

As far as I’m concerned, for professional athletes, games

have become a part of their life. They fight inthe match, fight for

their dream,and enjoy thir games.

As students, studying is a part of our life.I know we may be

confronted with many different kinds of problems,have you ever

wangted to give it up? On the one hand, when i faced with

difficulties,i felt sad and didn’t want to continue,on the other

hand ,i would tell mylf that：He who can sndure the greatest

hardships will be the greatest among to my way of

thinking, on the road of studying, we need to learn how to keep

ourlf motivated and continue studying and learn how to make

studying a better way to enjoy rather then boring ourlf out.

THE first time I saw Bao was in 20xx, the year when Thomas

and Uber Cup was held. At that time he was playing against Li

zongwei, who is also a good player from Malaysia. Bao beat him.

To tell the truth, at first the reason why I liked him was just

becau I thought he was pretty.*(maybe it is not a suitable word,

but I think no better word can describe him, he is really pretty!)

From that time, I have focud on him. Then gradually, I found

that he not only has good appearance, but also has a talent for

badminton.

He is very tall, about 1.90 meters. He is the tallest one among

all the players in the Chine Badminton Team. In 20xx, he is

chon as the flag holder stands for China in the opening

ceremony in the 15th Asian Games held in Doha. It was the first

time that the badminton players were chon to take over the

special task, before which time, it belonged to the basketball

players. It was a great honor. And it also proved that Bao was an

excellent athlete. We are all proud of him.

He began to play badminton when he was at primary school.

In 20xx, he won his first good medal, which was significant to him,

in Guangzhou. Becau of that, he entered the Chine

Badminton Team. As he is as old as Lin dan, who is the top one

in the world, he is always put into a situation which is not good

to him. He ldom beats Lin dan. In fact, his techniques are

comprehensive, but he is lack of passion, the desire to win is not

so strong. So he always has misplays. Due to this, he ldom wins

the gold medal. I think this is related to his character. He is

easygoing and couth; he looks as if he will never get angry with

anybody. So this affects him while he is playing badminton. In a

period of time, critical voice has come towards him. He is under

great pressure. He was not in the best state. But recently he

cheers up again. Several days ago, the Chine Badminton

Championship 20xx was held in Guangzhou. I went to e him on

Saturday. I was very excited, and I shouted loudly, hoping he

could hear me. There is no doubt that he won the game. Before

he went away, he waved hand to us, how excited I was at that

time! The next day, he beat Li zongwei again and he won the

man’s single gold medal. All of us are very happy. After 7 years,

which could be a long time for an athlete, he proved himlf

again in Guangzhou, which is considered as his lucky place.

I think this will be the energy of his advancing. And I hope he

can keep this fighting .

In my 18 years of life, there have been many things. university

days are the best part of them. i can never forget the days when

i stepped into my university. i was impresd by its garden—like

campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning

atmosphere. i at once fell in love with it.

After the arduous military training, i get absolutely absorbed

in my studies. the class given by the teachers are excellent. they

provide us with information not only from our textbooks but

from many other sources as well. they easily arou my insatiable

desire to take in as much as i can.

Frankly speaking, at first i had some difficulty following the

teachers. however, through my own efforts and thanks to my

teachers guidance, i made remarkable progress. now ive

benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.

Learning is a long process； ill keep exploring in the treasure

hou of knowledge to enrich mylf. this summer i got out of

the ivory tower and entered the real world. a publishing hou

offered me a part—time job in compilation and revision.

At the beginning i was belittled by my colleagues. but they

were really surprid when i translated ven english articles over

5,000 words on only one day. gradually, they began to look at me

with respectful eyes. in their opinion i turned out to be a uful

and trustworthy colleague.

I also realize that only tho who bring happiness for others

can be truly happy. so i often take part in activities concerning

public welfare. i once went to a barren mountain village with my

classmates. we taught the kids there who could not afford school.

while showing them how broad and how civilized the outer world

is, i was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honesty

and their purity. i couldnt control my tears on the day when we

left. the precious experience with the poor kids made me aware

of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers.

Bessides study and social practice, there are entertainments

as well. i do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and

energetic. we also write a play and put it on in our spare time.

Campus life is the most splendid time. but different people

have different choices. the majority of students cherish their

beautiful ason and cherish the hope that one day theyll

become outstanding. but there are indeed some students still

under ignorance. they gather together for eating, drinking or

playing cards. theyre busy in arching for a girlfriend or a

boyfriend. they forget completely about their mission as college

students and the hope of their motherland.

Finally, i do hope everybody can try their best to become a

worthy citizen of the country. i do hope everybody can become

the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to

society!
