Hello, everyone

My name is Billy, I am ten years old. I am from Pei Yuan Primary

School. Today, I want to introduce my family.

There are three people in my family, my father, mother and I. we

live in Yixing.

My father works in the Bank of China. He is busy, so he often gets

home very late, but he will come to my bedroom and say “good night” to

me everyday whenever how late.

My mother is a beautiful middle-aged woman. She has short hair

and wears a pair of glass. I love my mother, becau she does most of

the houwork in my home and she does everything for me. Every day

she spends some time with me on my study. She is a good teacher as

well as my dear mother.

I am thin and not tall, but I like sports. I can skate, play badminton

and swim. My favorite sport is playing badminton. I usually play it with

my mother every Sunday. I believe playing badminton will bring me good

health.

This is my family, father, mother and I. I love my family very much,

becau “be it every so humble, there is no place like home.”

At last I am going to sing for everyone, “you are my sunshine.”

It is undeniable that the worning environment has bee the biggest

concern of the prent-day world. Land resources are dwindling becau

of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gas poison the air we breathe.

The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from

factories. It is probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the

quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itlf.

Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is

the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think

that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic

growth if people’s lives are adverly alfected by worning

environmental pollution?

There is plenty of evidence to show that sustainable development

can be achieved by balancing economic growth with protection of the

environment. The key to achieving this is to make people aware of the

riousness of the problem. Both governments and ordinary citizens

should join hands to make this world a better place to live in, not only for

ourlves, but also for future generations.

不可否认的是环境恶化已成为当今世界上人们最担心的事了。因为水资源的浪费和土壤被侵蚀，土地资源逐渐缩小。我们呼吸着有毒

的空气，河流和湖泊也被附近的工厂里排放出来的废弃物严重污染了。不夸大其词地说，环境质量的恶化很可能威胁人类的生存。

有些人说环境问题是我们为经济发展所付出的代价。对此，我不敢苟同。如果人类的生活被日益恶化的'环境污染所影响的话，那么，经济发展的好处何在？

足够的证据证明:经济发展与环境保护的平衡能够实现可持续发展。关键是使人们意识到问题的严重性。政府和普通市民两方都就应携手使地球成为更适合人类居住的地方，这不仅仅是为我们自我，也是为我们的后代。

t-shirt, it is written ‘what is love?’ at that time, i didn’t quite understand

the ntence, but with the time passing, i begin to know its meaning.

in XX, i went to the primary school, since then i started a very

important step in my life. in XX, i worked hard and got my first certificate

—cambridge english level 1 with the score of 14 shields.

following that it was XX, there were a great number of things in this

year. first, the olympic games were successfully held in our country.

cond, i got the first prize in hainxin cup competition. but there was a

bad thing--the earthquake in wenchuan, in the disaster, we felt our

country’s love.

now it is XX, i’m growing up with country, little by little i understand

what love is—love is to help other people and help mylf!

is love ？当时我还不太明白这句话的意思，随着时间的流逝我越来越懂得这句话的含义……

XX年，我上小学了，我背着书包去上学，从此迈开了我人生关键的一步！

XX年我生活中发生了一件大事情，我努力学习以14个盾牌的成绩得到了剑桥一级证书。这是我得到的第一张证书。

XX年，这一年的事情实在太多了！首先是奥运会，我的祖国成

功举办了北京奥运会，我参加了第六届海心杯英语口语大赛，获得了小学乙组一等奖。可是，汶川地震了，我们深切感受到祖国的爱。
