第一篇:来自内心的礼物
According to legend, a young man while (引导伴随性状语从句)roaming the
dert came across a spring of delicious crystal-clear water. The water was so
sweet, he filled his leather canteen so he could bring some back to a tribal elder
who(引导定语从句) had been his teacher. After a four-day journey he prented
the water to the old man who (引导限制性定语从句)took a deep drink, smiled
warmly and thanked his student lavishly for the sweet water. The young man
returned to his village with a happy heart. Later, the teacher let another student
taste the water. He spat it out, saying it was awful(独立主格结构做伴随状语). It
apparently had become stale becau of the old leather student
challenged his teacher: "Master, the water was foul. Why did you pretend to like
it?"The teacher replied, "You only tasted the water. I tasted the gift. The water
was simply the container for an act of loving-kindness and nothing could be
sweeter."
I think we understand this lesson best when(引导时间状语从句) we receive
innocent gifts of love from young children. Whether it's a ceramic tray or a
macaroni bracelet, the natural and proper respon is appreciation and
expresd thankfulness becau(引导原因状语从句) we love the idea within the
ude doesn't always(部分否定) come naturally. Unfortunately, most
children and many adults value only the thing given rather than the feeling
embodied in it. We should remind ourlves and teach our children about the
beauty and purity of feelings and expressions of gratitude. After all, gifts from
the heart are really gifts of the heart.
第二篇 生命的故事
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that(引导宾语从句) they were meant to be there , to rve some sort of purpo ,teach
you a lesson,or to (并列)help you figure out who(引导宾语从句) you are or who(引导宾语从句) you want to never know who(引导宾语从句) the
people maybe (possibly your roommate , neighbor , coworker , long lost friend ,
lover , or even a complete stranger),but when(引导时间状语从句) you lock eyes
with them, you know at that very moment they will affect your life in some
profound way .And sometimes things happen to you that may em horrible ,
painful. and unfair at first , but in reflection you find that without overcoming
tho obstacles you would have never realized(虚拟条件句) your potential ,
strength , willpower , or heart.
Everything happens for a g happens by chance or by means of
good luck. Illness , injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer
stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without the small tests
whatever they may be ,life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to
nowhere.(虚拟条件句,without引导条件从句) It would be safe and comfortable,
but dull and utterly people you meet who(引导定语从句) affect
your life ,and the success and downfalls you experience(省略关系词的定语从句) ,
help to create who you are and who you become(都引导宾语从句).Even the bad
experiences can be learned from(被动句). In fact ,they are probably the most
poignant and important someone hurts you , betrays you ,or breaks
your heart, forgive them, for(引导原因状语从句) they have helped you learn about
trust and the importance of being cautious when(原因状语从句) you open your
heart. If someone loves you ,love them back unconditionally, not only becau
they love you ,but becau in a way (关联词连接原因状语从句), they are teaching
you to love and how(引导宾语从句做并列宾语) to open your heart and eyes to
things.
Make every day iate every moment and take from tho
moments everything that(引导定语从句,something、everything、anything作先行词,关系词只能用that ) you possibly can for(引导与原因状语从句) you may(情态动词) never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that(定语从句)you have never talked to before, and actually yourlf fall in love,
break free, and t your sights your head up becau(原因状语从句)
you have every right yourlf you are a great individual and believe in
yourlf, for if you don’t believe in yourlf , it will be hard for others to believe
in you . You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and
then go out and live it with absolutely no importantly,if (条件状语从句)you LOVE someone, tell him or her , for(原因状语从句) you never know
what(宾语从句) tomorrow may have in store. And learn a lesson in life each day
that(定语从句) you live.
That`s the story of life.
第三篇 尤蒂卡的午餐时光
If my life were a movie I would fast-forward through junior high(虚拟语气). My junior high years were painful. Like every junior high kid, I was
dealing with awakening xuality, and struggling with who(宾语从句) I was
and how(宾语从句) I would make my mark in life. But I was sure I was alone
with the strange feelings.
I was trying and failing in a number of things. I wanted to excel in
athletics but had not yet figured out that(引导宾语从句) that(代词,指代”excel
in athletics”) would never happen. I wasn’t academic enough to spell
academic. (I’m a little surprid right now that(原因状语从句) I was able to
spell that without the aid of my nifty little Microsoft Word spell checker). I
was trying to gain a spot in the pecking order as a new kid in school. All the
while, I remember suffering the rejection of most of my peer being cut from
the basketball team, failing to play football that(定语从句) I so wanted to play.
It was a time of questioning how(引导宾语从句) girls saw me and wanting so
much to be loved and accepted. To be loved and accepted emed to me at
the time (插入语)something I could never, in all my life,(插入语) achieve.
During that time I would go through the cafeteria line and eat alone,
feeling unloved and unnoticed. As spring came, one day I was starting out
the door and complaining that I had no one to eat with. Mom said to me, “If
you want, you can come home for lunch.” That day, when lunch came(时间状语从句作插入语), it was a beautiful spring day in the hills of central Ohio. The
bell rang at noon and I bolted from the school and ran across the little village
home to eat. I wondered if my mom would remember. When I got there,
Mom was getting a little chicken pot pie out of the oven for me. It was a very
humble lunch. It was just one of tho four-for-a-dollar pot pies with little
diced pieces of chicken, frozen peas and carrot in some chicken gravy.
Mom t a cloth napkin beside my plate at the end of the table just
beneath the window. I sat at our humble kitchen table in our tiny, white
rented home on Maple Street in Utica. Mom listened to me while I talked
about whatever(宾语从句) was on my mind. In about 15 minutes my time
was up and I ran back to was in about 1972, thirty years ago. My
mom at the time(时间状语作插入语) was in her early thirties. She emed so
old to me then and thirty-year-olds em like children to me now. She sat
across the table for about 15 minutes and looked at me and listened to me
and three decades later I remember tho times with fondness. She just paid
attention to me. It’s a powerful thing to pay attention to people(不定时作原因状语).
Now you know a little more about how(引导宾语从句) I e home. Home
is a place where(引导定语从句),后面几个同理 you don’t have to sit alone and
eat. Home is a place where people don’t ignore you and avoid is a
place where it doesn’t really matter that much what’s on the menu(it 代替真正的主语what’s on the menu,), simple things are sweet to the taste in an
atmosphere of love and curity and acceptance. Moms are people who(定语从句) listen to you when(时间状语) no one el is interested. And moms
don’t ever think the small mundane things you do don’t matter. Moms don’t
laugh at your dreams. Good moms pay attention. Great moms fix you
something warm to eat and pay attention.
I’m not sure what(时间状语) was happening at the time but I know tho
little chicken pot pies were not worthy of a sprint across town. With the clarity
of vision that(定语从句) the years bring, I now know that(宾语从句) I needed
a friendly place of warm acceptance for a few minutes a day. I didn’t need my
stomach filled as much as I needed my emotional fuel tank refilled. And
refueling an emotional fuel tank is a good mother’s specialty.
第四篇 清晨许愿
The sun is just rising in the morning of another day. What can I wish that(宾语从句) this day may bring me? Nothing that(定语从句) shall make the
world or others poorer, nothing at the expen of other men; but just tho few
things which(定语从句) in their coming do not stop me but touch me rather, as
they pass and gather strength.
I wish that(引导宾语从句),后面同理 this day could(wish 后的从句中动词要用虚拟语气),后面同理bring me a few friends, who(引导非限制性定语从句)
understand me, and yet remain my friends; I also wish that this day could bring
me a work to do which(引导定语从句,先行词是work) has real value.
I wish that this day could bring me a mind unafraid to travel, even though(引导让步状语从句) the trail be not blazed, and I wish that this day could bring
me an understanding heart.
I wish that this day could bring me a sight of the eternal hills, and the blue
a stretching to the horizon(名词+非谓语动词构成独立主格结构作宾语), and of
something beautiful which the hands of men have made.
I wish that this day could bring me a n of humor, and the power to laugh,
a little leisure with nothing to do.
And I crave for a few moments of quiet, silent meditation in the morning of
this day.
第五篇 回来吧,青春
It was New Year's night. An aged man was standing at a window. He raid
his mournful eyes towards the deep blue sky, where(引导宾语从句) the stars
were floating like white lilies on the surface of a clear calm lake. When(时间状语从句) he cast them on the earth, where(定语状语从句) few more hopeless
people than himlf now moved towards their certain goal—the tomb. He had
already pasd sixty of the stages leading to it, and he had brought from his
journey nothing but errors and remor. Now his health was poor, his mind
vacant, his heart sorrowful, and his old age short of comforts.
The days of his youth appeared like dreams before him, and he recalled the
rious moment when(引导定语从句) his father placed him at the entrance of
the two roads--one leading to a peaceful, sunny place, covered with flowers,
fruits and resounding with soft, sweet songs;the other leading to a deep , dark
cave, which(定语从句) was endless, where(地点状语从句),后面同理 poison
flowed instead of water and where devils and poisonous snakes hisd and
crawled.
He looked towards the sky and cried painfully," O, youth, return! O, my
father, place me once more at the entrance to life, and I'll choo the better
way!" But both his father and the days of his youth had pasd away. He saw
the lights flowing away in the darkness. The were the days of his wasted
life;he saw a star fall from the sky and disappeared, and this was the symbol of
himlf. His remor, which(引导非限制性定语从句) was like a sharp arrow,
struck deeply into his heart. Then he remembered his friends in his childhood,
who(引导非限制性定语从句) entered life together with him. But they had made
their way to success and were now honored and happy on this New Year's night.
The clock in the high church tower struck and the sound made him
remember his parents' early love for him. They had taught him and prayed to
God for his good. But he cho the wrong way. With shame and grief he dared
no longer to look towards the heaven where(定语从句) his father lived. His
darkened eyes were full of tears, and with a despairing effort,(with 引导伴随状语) he burst out a cry:" Come back, my early days! Come back!"
And his youth did return, for(原因状语从句) all this was only a dream, which(定语从句) he had on New Year's night. He was still young though his faults
were real; he had not yet entered the deep, dark cave, and he was still free to
walk on the road which(定语从句) leads to the peaceful and sunny land. Tho
who(定语从句) still linger on the entrance of life, hesitating to choo the bright
road(现在分词作伴随状语), remember that(宾语从句) when(时间状语从句) years
are pasd and your feet stumble on the dark mountains, you will cry bitterly,
but in vain. "O youth, return! Oh give me back my early days!"
