Importance of Teamwork
As teamwork is increasingly important in modern society, everyone should train his ability to cooperate with others.
Today's society is no longer a lf-sufficient one,but one in
which all the people depend on each other for existence.Only
for existence, not to mention the pursuit and obtainment of
happiness, one can't do without the ability to work harmoniously
with others. In the highly developed society today, one can
almost accomplish nothing without joint efforts.Every loaf of
bread, every article of clothes, every hou or apartment, every means of transportation is the product of cooperative
efforts. We play with other children in kindergartens;we study
with our classmates at schools;and we will work with our fellow
workers or colleagues in factories or companies. What we have
got through teamwork is not only lf-improvement,personal
success but also the satisfaction at both our devotion to common
caus and the n of collective honor.
To meet the needs of both personal improvement and the
sophisticated society,we should learn to cooperate with each
other and adjust to each other.Only in this way can we achieve
success and satisfy ourlves as well as the society.
答案二:
Coaching Suggestions
The coach should know his job and do what he can to be certain
that the players respect not only his ability to coach but his
quality as a man.He should inspire confidence so that the
players will exert their full effort in trying to execute his
every suggestion.
The coach should have patience. One of the most common faults
in coaching is to expect too much of the players. There is a
tendency for many coaches who were great players themlves to
expect their players to move along as fast as they did.Give
the players a chance to practice and develop physically and
mentally.
The coach should maintain an open mind to suggestions from his
players if a player has suggested a play,I feel it is wi to
give him credit for it in front of the entire team.
Since the coach can play a major role in the development of a
player, being a good coach is very important.
答案三:
To Be Busy Or To Be Idle
Many people we know prefer to live a busy life. They enjoy
making tight schedules and doing everything in a hurry. They
simply like the feeling of being totally engaged in their
work. They often stick to one principle: work hard and play
hard.
Still, there are other people who find great fun in an idle
life. They hate to hurry all the time, arguing that they take
their time just to reach high efficiency. In fact, most of them
are productive despite their loo schedules, and only a few
live a non productive life.Feeling empty at heart, they kill
time in various ways.
I agree with the work-hard-and-play-hard principle becau
only in this way can we complete our work in time and be able
to relax after a good days work.
答案四:
On Developing Tourism
Tourism, a smokeless industry, is developing rapidly in China.
With the reform and opening –up policy being carried out,
thousands upon thousands of foreign visitors are crowding into
our country. They are eager to e this old mysterious land with
a splendid culture of more than 5, 000 years.
Tourism as a form of enterpri brings China a lot of benefits.
In the fires place, it is financially beneficial to the economic
development of China. As our know, China needs more and more
foreign currencies for its modernization program. Tourism is
one of the most important channels to obtain currencies.
Secondly, tourism enables the Chine people to know more about
the outside world. On the other hand, the foreigners who have
visited China are deeply impresd by the latest developments
of out country and the friendliness and hospitality of our
people. Reports by visitors to China about how courteous and
helpful most Chine were to them are often printed in
newspapers of many different countries. It is clear that
tourism contributes a great deal to the friendship and mutual
understanding between the Chine people and people all over
the world.
Everything, however, has two sides. Tourism gives ri to a
number of problems. For instance, it becomes a burden to our
inefficient transportation system. Besides, the living
standard of the average Chine is still not high enough to be
able to afford the many different sorts of expens during long
distance travels. Therefore, there are still a lot of obstacles
hindering the expansion of tourism in our country.
As for me, with the development of our national economy, all
the problems will certainly be solved step by step. A much
better and brighter future awaits us.
答案五:
Investment in Beijing from Different Countries and Regions
Since China opened its door to the outside world in 1979,
Beijing has made remarkable results in attracting foreign
business to invest in joint ventures. According to the pie chart,
the investors in different enterpris come from 26 countries
and regions. Hong Kong investment ranks first, accounting for
44 per cent of the total. Japan’s investment makes up 19.2 per
cent, putting it in cond spot. Third is the United States at
16 per cent.
It is generally believed that Beijing benefits a lot from the
outside investment. In the first place, a large number of joint
ventures have been t up, which contributes greatly to the
development of Capital Economy. Secondly, the foreign-invested
enterpris offer a lot of jobs to the residents in Beijing.
This in turn relieves the problem of laid-off workers in the
city. Finally, the high-tech enterpris in the capital will
grow rapidly as Beijing enjoys the same preferential policies
as coastal cities open to the outside world.
As far as the measures to attract outside investment are
concerned, I think they are as follows. On the one hand, we
should make special efforts to improve the investment
environment. On the other hand, we should take advantage of this
opportunity to run the prent foreign-invested enterpris
efficiently.
答案六:
Getting to Know the World Outside the Campus
As the society advances, it is esntial for us college students
to get to know the world outside the campus. Firstly, enlarges
our scope of knowledge. Secondly, it prepares us for entering
the society. Finally, it makes us more aware of our duty as
college students and thus stimulates us to work harder.
There are many ways for us to know the outside world. To begin
with, we can watch TV, read newspapers or listen to radio. In
this way, we can keep ourlves well-informed of what is going
on home and abroad. Nest, we can take part in such social
practices as conducting a survey and participating in community
projects. The will reward us with much experience. With which
we will rve the society better when we enter it .
As a college student in the modern age, I will get mylf out
of the ivory tower and into the real world. On one hand, I will
read more frequently the newspaper so as to keep mylf abreast
of current affairs. On the other, I plan to find a part-time
job like being a tutor or a waiter. The fob will help me to know
the society more directly.
答案七:
Harmfulness of Fake Commodities
Nowadays, the market in China is swarming with fake commodities
such as foodstuff, clothing, and even medicine. For one thing,
our country is in its transitional stage, and the discrepancy
between the rich and the poor is strikingly great. Some people
envy the millionaires so much that they simply take chances to
produce or ll fake goods. For another, the corresponding laws
to punish such unlawful acts lag far behind, and the existing
punishment is not vere enough to deter the violators.
Fake commodities are harmful to customers as well as the society.
Take for example the 1998 alcohol ca in Shan’xi Province.
A peasant, desperate to amass money overnight, added methanol
to water, and thus produced liquors. The incident was a disaster
to the consumers: over twenty were killed, and veral hundred
were poisoned. At the same time, it brought about much cost to
the society to save tho who had drunk such liquors. What’s more, the carry-over of the fear left people throughout the
country confud and panic: they no longer have a n of
safety.
Considering the great dangers inflicted by fake commodities,
it is really high time that effective measures were taken to
forbid production and sale of fake commodities.
答案八:
Do “Lucky Numbers” Really Bring Good luck
Numbers such s six and eight are regarded as lucky numbers. Some
people think that they will bring good luck to them, and some
even hold that certain lucky numbers determine whether they
will succeed. Therefore, when they choo a car number or
telephone number, they are likely to choo numbers that end
with the lucky numbers.
To others, however, it is superstitious to maintain that
certain numbers have something to do with good luck. They
believe in their own abilities rather than “lucky numbers”.
Before they hold their weddings or start their business, they
never consider whether or not the dates of the days end with
the so-called lucky numbers.
In my eyes, we should not a fuss over whether one is right to
believe in “lucky numbers”. It is simply his personal choice.
What really matters is that he should depend on himlf and work
hard. Only with his own efforts can he succeed eventually.
答案九:
Don’t Hesitate to Say “No”
In our daily life, there are many occasions on which we should
not hesitate to say “No” when asked for help. For one thing,
when we are not able to offer help, we should give others a
direct reply “No”. For another, when the thing we are asked
for is unreasonable or even illegal, we should also say “No”
to the requiring people.
However, it is not the ca in our real life. Many people prefer
to say “Yes” when they should say “No”. On the one hand,
they are afraid to lo their own face. Since they think refusal
means their inability. On the other hand, they are afraid to
offend the people who make such requests, and usually such
people are friends, relatives and so on.
In fact, there are disadvantages in doing so: at first, if they
are not able enough or willing enough to do the things as
required to, they will put themlves into an even more
embarrasd situation, and as a result, they may lo both their
acquaintances’ trust and the credit of their own.
答案十:
Reading Selectively or Extensively
Reading is an important means to get information and amument.
Then how should we read so as to get the most out of it
Some people think that we should read lectively. The books
are countless, but our time is limited. We cannot read all of
them. Furthermore, just as the proverb says, jack of all master
of none. Many many books are not in the field we are interested
in , and it will not add up to our knowledge at all. Therefore,
we should lect some books and ignore others.
Some others think differently about this matter. In their
opinion, with the coming of Information Age, today’s world is
no longer what it was yesterday. The more we know about
different fields, the more likely we are to succeed. To attain
our objectives, we should read extensively.
In my eyes, there is something in both of the two opinions, but
neither of them is absolutely right. If we simply read
lectively, the framework of our knowledge may not be complete.
If we only read extensively, we may not be specialized in any
particular field. Ti is more reasonable for us to combine the
two methods.
