篇一：Describing People

Perhaps the most vital person I have ever met is an Italian

professor of philosophy who teaches at the University of

gh I last met this man eight years ago， I have not

forgotten his special of all，I was impresd by his

devotion to teaching. Becau his lectures were always well-prepared and clearly delivered， students swarmed into his

classroom. His followers appreciated the fact that he believed in

what he taught and that he was intellectually

rmore， he could be counted on to explain his

ideas in an imaginative way，introducing such aids to

understanding as paintings， recordings，pieces of sculpture，

and guest lecturers. Once he even sang a song in class to

illustrate a point. Second， I admired the fact that he would

confer with students outside of the classroom or talk with them

on the telephone. Drinking coffee in the snack bar， he would

easily make friends with students. Sometimes he would challenge

a student to a game of chess. At other times， he would join

groups to discuss subjects ranging from astronomy to scuba

diving. Many young people visited him in his office for academic

advice； others came to his home for social evenings. Finally，I

was attracted by his lively wit. He believed that no class hour is a

success unless the students and the professor share veral

chuckles and at least one loud h his n of humor，

he made learning more enjoyable and more it is true

that life makes a wi man smile and a foolish man cry，then my

friend is truly a wi man. Probably the best example of his wit is

this bit of wisdom with which he once ended a lecture：“It is as

dangerous for man to model himlf upon his invention， the

machine，as it would be for God to model Himlf upon His

invention.”

篇二：My Favorite Teacher

Everyone has his favorite teacher, so do I. My favourite

teacher is Miss Wei, our English teacher. We felt English very

difficult when we began to study English. Miss Wei had a good

idea to solve the problem. One day, Miss Wei came into the

classroom with some fruits, such as apples, bananas, and oranges.

She said: “Today we are going to learn the names of the fruits.

You can eat the fruits if you can tell me their names in

English. ”All the students listened carefully and studied hard.

Someone even stood up to answer questions. Class was over, and

the fruits were all eaten. From then on, I am more and more

interested in English, and I want to say from my heart: “ Thank

you, Miss Wei!”

Miss Li often sticks to have lessons when she is ill , She looked

weak, but still beautiful. Miss Li love us very much, she teaches

us so carefully .I think she is a good teacher. We all love her, too.

I think teachers are like candles , giving off light for others by

burning themlves.

篇三：Four Kinds of Men in Women's Eye

When our friends or roommates have boyfriends, the first

question we would like to ask is whether he is handsome or not

And we judge them by their appearances, but when I answer this

question, I'd like to take how they treat their girlfriends into

consideration. And in terms of this standard, I divide men into

fours kinds: good men, “bad” men, “great” men, and “small”

men.

The good men include tho who can be responsible for

whatever they have done as well as kind-hearted and of the milk

of the human kindness. They can help tho who are in trouble

without a cond thought. And I think this kind of men do have

the potential of being husband. They can be a perfect choice. But

they are a little conrvative and hesitating when they make

choices. This hinders their success and becomes a disadvantage

for them. When you stay with them, you feel boring and a lack of

romance. What they emphasize is the common life such as they

can even prepare a birthday cake or buy you beautiful clothes,

but not a bunch of ros. The amount of the gifts then nt you

is becoming less and less with the development of your

relationship. You feel there is no love between you and when

someday you leave home and get hurt, you find he is the first

one you ask for help. But when you stay together again, you find

he is still the boring person and you have to live the tedious life.

Then you leave again, finally, you know that is the true meaning

of life. But this time you don't have the chance for he has become

other's husband. And what you can do is to complain why good

men always belong to others.

Bad men are always tho who are very handsome. Thus they

have more choices of choosing women and they won't stay with

a woman for long time. If you ask him to give you an answer, he

may answer you by leaving you immediately. Becau you ask

him to choo one tree only, he them will have to give up the

whole forest. Then comes their nickname: three nots （not active,

not responsible, not refu anyone）。

Great men are often very popular. They know what is proper

for them to do. When you are with him, you needn't worry about

everything. For example, when you walk with him in a park in a

dark night, and there is a man who hurt you slightly which you

don't care, but this “great” men won't let it go at that. He may

beat him and even get a bloody no. Then you ask him to

hospital, he will smile to you and say “nothing rious! Only a

scratch of skin and drops of blood!() Your safety is

important!” This is the behavior of great men. Sometimes they

em to neglect your feelings. That is becau they think this is

men's ability to protect his woman and unnecessary to let her

worry about him for he is a man, a “great” man.

“Small” man is not relevant to their shortness just like

WuDalang in Chine literature but the limited range of their

activities, the weak ability of earning money, the cowardice,

short-sighted goal of life and so on In daily life, they go to work

on time and know saving money. They often have three kinds of

cigarettes: one for himlf, one for friends, and another for his

manager. On weekends, you ask him to go shopping with you, he

can't refu you and you ask him to cook again he obey you. They

are gentle, nsitive, and considerate. And now we think that

women are not so women, and men are not so men. So the

moderate men become popular and get a beautiful name:

metropolis men.

This is my own opinion. You may have your own

understanding on this and judge them by your own standard.

This is only a guide given by me for you to choo your ideal Mr.

Right.
