成长的孤独

We’re like the cream. When the cream ris to the top, it

parates itlf from the milk. Perhaps that is what the New Age

Movement is really all about. We find ourlves lonely at the top.

Yes, it is.

It is no different with political enlightenment, spiritual

enlightenment, or even becoming enlightened about relating to

each other. The more mentally healthy you become, the more

spiritual, the more balanced, the wealthier, the more global you

become… the more alone you may feel.

Often, we find ourlves unable to find tho other rare

individuals who are choosing the same path as ours. The path of

sloppy and lazy is full of other people to meet and talk to. The

path of whiners is full. The path of being safe, generic, and boring

is so crowded you almost cannot even move forward. Isn’t that

why you left that path? You had a need to move forward, a need

for some elbowroom, a need to spread your arms wide, a need

to be en as special, unique, different. The mass may admire

you, but they are not going to be able to really relate to you. You

will be alone much of the time.

Do not be afraid of the loneliness of enlightenment. Do not

force others to agree with you. Simply give your heart and know

that you are growing and that they are free to grow or not. It is

the nature of the game. We are all free to choo our paths.

For me the most interesting thing about a solitary life, and

mine has been that for the last twenty years, is that it becomes

increasingly rewarding. When I can wake up and watch the sun

ri over the ocean, as I do most days, and know that I have an

entire day ahead, uninterrupted, in which to write a few pages,

take a walk with my dog,lie down in the afternoon for a

and listen to music, I am flooded with happiness.

I am lonely only when I am overtired, when I have worked

too long without a break, when for the time being I feel empty

and need filling up. And I am lonely sometimes when I come back

home after a lecture trip, when I have en a lot of people and

talked a lot, and am full to the brim with experience that needs

to be sorted out.

at the end of the field, but the moment when the world falls away,

and the lf emerges again from the deep unconsciousness,

bringing back all I have recently experienced to be explored and

slowly understood, when I can conver again with my hidden

powers, and so grow, and so be rewarded, till death do us part.

过了 一会儿，我看到地平线的尽头海浪如泉水般喷涌，那一刻，世界消逝殆尽了，而自我从深层的无意识中再一次浮现，这才使我想
