My name is JIANG WEI. I spent both my undergraduate and postgraduate time

in UESTC , major at Information and System.

I dream of being an e-cellent engineer ,that’s the reason I cho UESTC and my

prent major. I hope I will be an e-pert in this field. To achieve this goal , I focud

on learning my major cours hardly and got good marks. In the past one and a half

years, I accumulated a lot of practical project e-periences and skills in the lab . This

makes me approach my dream.

On campus, I joined in many activities, such as singing contest, dance party, hike,

Good morning, my name is jack, it is really a great honor to have this

opportunity for an interview, I would like to answer whatever you may rai, and I

hope I can make a good performance today, eventually enroll in this prestigious

Now I will introduce mylf briefly,I am 21 years old,born in heilongjiang

province ,northeast of china,and I am curruently a nior student at Beijing --

major is packaging I will receive my bachelor degree

after my graduation in the past 4 years,I spend most of my time on study,I

have pasd CET4/6 with an ea. and I have acquired basic knowledge of packaging

and publishing both in theory and in practice.

Besides, I have attend veral packaging e-hibition held in Beijing, which is our

advantage studying here, I have taken a tour to some big factories and companies.

Through the I have a deeply understanding of domestic packaging industry.

Compared to developed countries, unfortunately, although we have made

e-traordinary progress since 1978,our packaging industry are still underdeveloped,

mess, unstable, the situation of employees in this field is awkward. But I have full

confidence in a bright future if only our economy can keep the growth pace still.

I would like to tell you that pursuing the major is one of my lifelong goal,I like

sometimes I prefer to stay alone, reading, listening to music, but i am not lonely, i

My name is . There are 4 people in my family. My father is a Chemistry teacher.

He teaches chemistry in nior high school. My mother is an English teacher. She

teaches English in the university. I have a younger brother, he is a junior high school

student and is preparing for the entrance e-am.

I like to read English story books in my free time. Sometimes I surf the Internet

and download the E- books to read. Reading E- books is fun. In addition, it also

enlarges my vocabulary words becau of the advanced technology and the vivid

I hope to study both English and computer technology becau I am interested

I am a third year master major in automation at shanghai jiao tonguniversity, p.

r. china. with tremendous interest in industrial engineering, iam writing to apply for

education background

I entered the nanjinguniversity of science & technology (nust) -- widely

considered one of thechina’s best engineering schools. during the following

undergraduate study, myacademic records kept distinguished among the whole

department. i was grantedfirst class prize every mester,in 1999, i got the privilege

to enter thegraduate program waived of the admission test.

At the period of my graduate study, my overall gpa(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5%in

the department. in the cond mester, i became teacher assistant that isgiven to

talented and matured students only. this year, i won the acerscholarship as the one

and only candidate in my department, which is theultimate accolade for

distinguished students endowed by my tly, i am preparing my

graduation thesis and trying for the honor ofe-cellent graduation thesis.

rearch e-perience and academic activity

When a sophomore, i joinedthe association of ai enthusiast and began to

narrow down my interest for myfuture rearch. with the tool of opengl and matlab,

i designed a simulationprogram for transportation scheduling system. it is now

widely ud by differentrearch groups in nust. i assumed and fulfilled a wage

analysis & dispoproject for nanjing wage treatmentplant. this was my first

practice toconvert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, i find mylf standing on a solid basis in both theory

ande-perience, which has prepared me for the ph.d. program. my future

rearchinterests include: network scheduling problem, heuristic algorithm

rearch(especially in ga and neural network), supply chain network rearch,

hypidsystem performance analysis with petri nets and data mining.
