Good afternoon, dear teachers. I’m very glad to be here to have a speech. The topic

of my speech is .

As far as I’m concerned, I’m a sheer amateur of sports, being fascinated by

swimming, running, mountaineering and so on. I couldn’t agree with the

perspectives from people who dislike sports, becau you’ll feel greatly relieved

after being drenched in sweats by sports. Sports can also help you forget your

worries and stress, feeling unprecedented relaxed.

As is known, a healthy body is extraordinarily crucial. Moreover physical exerci

undeniably exerts a far-reaching influence on keeping ourlves fit. In taking part in

out-door sports, we are clor to nature and can take in fresh air. The beauty of

nature will keep us clear-headed, which is esntial to our health. Besides sports can

stimulate the circulation of blood and help to excrete the wastes in the body. It also

can work up our appetite and activate or digestion. In a word, sports can give ri to

a strong body for us.

In contemporary society, with the increasing focus on health, people in ever

expanding numbers join the trend of doing sports and begin to accept more and

more sorts of fashionable sports, ranging from hiking to diving. From this

phenomenon, we can e not only do sports play a significant role in health, but also

lay a solid foundation for human beings’ spirit.

From my aspects, the enchantment of sports is that it’s a challenge for the limit of

your body --- both a sort of healthy and popular life style and an reflection of

optimistic and positive attitude. Just like nowadays, the development of Olympic

games is harmonious and prosperous, for the reason that it’s not only for shaping

human’s body, but more for pursuing a king of spirit --- faster, higher, stronger.

The various kinds of products in delicate Chine stores, inns and shops inevitably

have the sign of “Made in China”。 Even if some people do not speak English, after

viewing plenty of tho goods, are capable of identifying this high-frequency phra.

Unconsciously, I think of the abstract word “patriotism”。 Some “patriots” resist the

consumption of Japane products. Some “patriots” damage Japan manufactured

cars. Some “patriots” make humiliating GIFs about Japan. Some “patriots” attack

countries that do not admit the China’s sovereignty of Diaoyu Island. The examples

are endless. At their points of view, the are demonstrations of patriotism.

Nonetheless, the actions may be too impulsive. Probably, it is a better way that we

can earn respect from foreign nations via making China a more powerful country in

terms of economics politics.

I do not know. But in my heart, I have a firm belief that other countries can respect

China genuinely from the change of “Made in China” to “Designed by China”。

Finally,I want to say: We are the hope of our motherland, we should inherit the

tradition of excellence, strive to advanced country contributes own strength. Here, I

have a kind of inarticulate touched and proud.I for the construction of the Chine

people feel proud, proud of themlves as part of this great country!

一、活动目的

为了创造浓厚的校园文化氛围,掀起学英语、说英语的热潮,塑造我校崭新形象,特举办本次英语演讲比赛。

二、可行性分析

1、学校角度

(1)给同学们提供一次展示自我的平台,给同学们创造了一次互相交流的机会,帮助同学们提高自身的英语口语水平及在公众场合下的英语演说能力。

(2)丰富了学校开展的校园文化艺术节活动,锻炼了学生干部的能力,帮助学生会更好更快的成长。

(3)通过该活动来展示本阶段的英语教学水平及成果。

(4)通过这次活动来积累宝贵的经验,便于今后教学和活动的开展。

2、选手角度

(1)有一次展示自己英语口语水平的机会,有一次与他人交流英语学习心得的机会,有一次找到志同道合的伙伴的机会,有一次为英语而疯狂的机会。

(2)锻炼自己的心理素质和口语表达能力,提高团队合作精神。

3、观众角度

(1)为观众带来一场激烈,精彩的英语演讲比赛,带动全体中学生学习英语的热情,激励其学习兴趣。

(2)丰富课余生活,增长见识,开拓视野。

三、活动参与对象和地点:

中学部全体学生

会议室

四、活动简述

本次活动面向全体中学生,比赛为初赛、复赛、决赛三个环节。活动不仅能为同学们提供一个展示自己能力与才华的舞台、丰富课余生活,而且可以提高同学们学习英语的热情与激情。

五、活动流程

1、初赛、复赛(时间:10月8日—10月11日)

说明:初赛、复赛各班自行举办,每班选出8名英语口语、表达及综合能力较强者进入复赛,在复赛中选出最优秀的4名选手参加决赛。提倡办出特色,办出水平,推举优秀选手,以保证比赛质量。

2、决赛:(时间:10月17日星期四下午2:00—4:50)

说明:演讲主题不限,选手可在主题范围内自定小标题。演讲内容可涉及学习、工作、生活中的点点滴滴,人生观、价值取向,人与人之间的关系等方面。文体形式不限,可叙述、可议论、可抒情,但要真实,体现个性。语言风格要求生动活泼,有感染力。每人限时三分钟。

(1)、选手演讲顺序于比赛前一天抽签决定,参赛选手出场顺序按抽签决定,从小号到大号依次参加比赛。

(2)、比赛程序:

A、比赛开始:主持人入场,介绍领导,宣布赛制。

B、选手依次登台演讲。

(3)、比赛规则:

A、成绩计算:评委根据选手综合表现现场打分(评分保留两位小数),评委成绩中去掉一个最高分和一个最低分后的平均分为参赛选手的最终成绩。

B、参赛选手的最终成绩,从高分到低分依次排列名次,确定获奖等次。

六、奖项设置

7—9年级分A、B组设奖:A组:一等奖1名、二等奖1名

B组:一等奖1名、二等奖2名

七、工作安排和人员分配

总调度:(姚乾文)

1、宣传组组长:(姚乾文)负责制作和打印评分标准、评分表、总分表。

2、后勤组组长:(李平:杨婕、张春花)负责比赛现场的布置,观众席安排及入场引导,采购和保管纪念品、奖品、黑色粗笔和中性笔。配合其他各组工作,保证比赛的顺利进行。
