1. Could you tell me something about yourlf? 请自我介绍一下好吗？

Could you…？/Would you…?是个常用句型，could/ would在此不是过去形式，它此时表示

语气委婉、有礼貌。在希望得到肯定答复的疑问句中，以及在含有表示建议、请求和征求意

见的疑问句中，常用some和something, 而不用any和anything.

翻译：Would you like_________ to drink? 你想喝点什么吗？

句型“there is no need to do sth”，意思是：没有必要做某事。

5. It has been ten years since I last came to New York. 离我最后一次去纽约已经十年了。

since自从……以来

（1） since 后接时间点，句子常用现在完成时。

例句：I haven’t en him since 2000. 自2000年以来，我一直没有看见他。

since后接一段时间+ago(以前)

例句：I have learned English since 6 years ago.

（2）since后接句子，引导时间状语从句。

翻译：I haven’t heard from him since I lived in Shanghai.
