Quick Reference Guide

The Boston University Student Link is an online resource providing information about your status as a Boston University

student. Information regarding registration, class enrollment, financial aid, housing and more is available here. This

rvice can be ud by all students with a valid ACS urname and password.

Access the Boston University Student Link

You can log into the BU Student Link using any Web browr by going to

/studentlink.

The home page contains tabs reprenting the different areas within the Student

Link. Click on any area to learn more about it.

Once you have entered an area you will notice that some text links appear in

italics. The links contain general information that is available to the public.

Links that appear as regular text refer to information specific to you. To access

the resources you will need to enter your ACS login name and Kerberos

View And Update Your Personal Information

Information in the Personal Info area of the Student Link is

generated bad on the data you provided upon registering for

class or applying to Boston University.

Under the Address link you can modify your address and change

or update your emergency contact information.

Under the Data Restriction link you can control how your

information is made available to the Boston University community.

You may choo not to have your address made available by

tting the restrict access option. When you first enter Boston

University this information is not restricted unless you specify otherwi. Note that your information will not be available

to individuals outside of the Boston University community no matter how you t your restrictions.

The Identification link will display the name that the Office of the University Registrar has on record for you. For curity

reasons the name will be displayed for only 10 conds. If your name is listed incorrectly you can contact the Office of

the University Registrar at 617/353-3612 or stop by in person at 881 Commonwealth Avenue.

The Personal Profile link displays statistics the University has on record for you such as your BU ID photo, birth date,

gender, ethnicity, marital status and religion. This ction also includes citizenship information and visa code.
