摘要：PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity of rails for moving laterally containers on every storey in a building such as warehou or the like by elevationally movable lifting beams and laterally movable spreader for holding a container. CONSTITUTION:A container 3 is carried onto the lowermost storey in a building via a transport vehicle 18, a spreader 2 is dispod directly under a lifting beam 1, a rail arm 11 is stored, and the beam 1 is lowered to thus hold the container 3 via a twist lock 14. The container 3 is parated from the vehicle 18 in this state. Then, the container 3 is lifted with the beam 1, and is stopped at predetermined storey. The arm 11 is then laterally protruded to move the spreader 2 laterally by the operationof a spreader moving unit 13 to thereby store the container 3 in predetermined storey.
