学情分析:1. The students of Grade five mostly can communicate in simple English, and they’ve learned something about the past & prent ten.
2. Most of the students are active in participating in class, as well as willing to share ideas with others .
教学目标: Students will be able to :

2. Catch the topic of the story and have further understanding about the topic by discussing in groups.
3. Cherish the friendship and express their feelings for their friends by writing and speaking.

教学过程: Step1 Pre-reading
1.Greetings.
2.Preview
(1) Display the resource about machines
(a“Car-Making”Machine,a“Cookie-Making”Machine,
a“Cloth-Making”Machine)
(2)Ask a question:Did you e a“Friend-Making”Machine before? 通过问题让学生理解封面。
Step2 Generally-reading:
Listen the whole story and answer the questions:
(1)Who wants to make a“Friend-Making”Machine?
(2)Does he succeed?
呈现学生学习绘本故事前的预学情况,通过预学任务的检查与反馈,调动学生的背景知识,激发学生的阅读兴趣,为后续的故事学习奠定基础。
Step3 While-reading
Task1:Fast-reading P1-P8
(1)    What does Rob the rabbit do?
(2)    Is he happy? Why?
Task2:Read, answer and match,then perform.
(1) Listen and follow P9-14,
Questions:1.Who comes in? 2.What do they want?  (Discuss in groups.)
